Looks good to me.
That defensive starting unit. Woo!

I think KCPs minutes will shrink as Josh will start and we'll see Rondo and Lonzo on the floor at the same time as well. Which will allow KCP to welcome a trade to a team where he can get minutes to raise his value as an upcoming free agent.

holy (bleep), some of you look to get rid of Ingram on every (bleep) post possible.

He's on the roster, this thread is for minute predictions for this season. FOH with that disrespectful (bleep), Kawhi is a Raptor and INgram is a Laker.

Quote:

One more trade to get rid of the old regime's players!

ofcourse.

Hmm. Every post? I doubt it. But I can try if you really want.
I have hopes for BI. But it doesn't mean I can't dream.

One more trade to get rid of the old regime's players.

I hope they trade whoever your favorite player is straight to the Charlotte Hornets.

Good for you. But I'm on the side that want's the team to be better. So if you think it'll make the team better, I'm all for it. So who do you want to trade Lebron for?

3 team trade for AD and Kawhi or we hang up. Some people would rather keep Ingram than have the best team in the league. Your trade is actually a possibility come the deadline if the Raptors are underperforming and we add a few 1sts.

or maybe we're just sick of seeing Ingram trades in so many threads, this is literally a minute prediction for this season and dude is making up random scenarios getting rid of Ingram with a signature that says "one more trade to get rid of the old regime".

You'd have the same reaction if that (bleep) happened with Lonzo

No I wouldn’t. I want the Lakers to be the best team in the NBA however that happens. Making Ingram the centerpiece of a KL trade is because he’s a great propect who fills a similar role. It makes sense. Inserting Lonzo in that same trade and trying to run BI as the PG of the future doesn’t make sense. I’m sure even you can agree a Zo/Hart/KL/LeBron/McGee lineup is better than an Ingram/Hart/KL/LeBron/McGee lineup. Not to mention the Raptors need a wing more than a PG if KL leaves. Don’t be so sensitive, that trade could benefit both teams come the trade deadline.

If Luke and the FO was honest about earning a starting position in camp/preseason.....have to think the following lineup is in the lead to start opening night.

Rondo
Hart
Ingram
Lebron
McGee

if Lonzo is healthy, I would think him, KCP and Kuzma would be the first 3 off the bench.

Imo Beasley will be ahead of Wagner.

I can definitely see that.
I can even seen Zubac getting mins before Wagner (when initially healthy).
But I just feel that the activity and energy that Wagner brings is just going to make the coaches and fans love him.

I still think the starting 5 should just be the best 5 players of Ball, Hart, BI, Bron, & Kuz. Everyone is worried about the lack of interior defense and guarding real big men, that lineup needs to play as much as possible and are the main 5 that will make or break how far the team can go this season. If Kuz is in foul trouble or struggling, can just go back to playing a traditional big in McGee after.

It’s pretty evident they need a bit to play. McGee makes them better than going small.

A starting lineup of Lonzo Ingram lebron kuzma Mcgee should get some burn then you can have subs of rondo in for ball J hart - pope for bi & james also can spread the minutes around a lil bit more

This preseason has been quite indicative of what to expect and who is who.

Rondo, Hart, BI, LBJ, McGee will start
Lonzo, KCP, Lance, Kuz, Zubac/Beasley will be a pretty good second unit.

Wagner and Svi will be eased into rotation as they'll adjust to the speed of the game.

Caruso and Wear will only see the game when injuries hit in. Bonga not even then.

So we've all predicted minutes numerous times but how do you guys think Luke handles the in game rotations?

I think Lonzo and Ingram will the first ones subbed out, they'll get alot of run without Lebron starting the second quarters with the bench squad. Rondo and Kuzma are the first ones subbed in IMO. Last season Ingram was usually the last to be subbed out but I think Lebron takes that this season, giving him an somewhat extended rest in the middle.

I also see Hart/KCP being inter-changable throughout the game depending on matchups and who is hot.

Beaz probably comes in for McGee as the small ball 5 unless Zu/Wager replace him. Lance is the piece that confuses me, he just seems so (bleep) un needed IMO.

^ I think Kuz comes in for McGee as the first sub. Which is kind of scary

Starters

Lonzo - 30 plus
KCP - 20 plus
Ingram -30 plus
Lebron - 30 plus
McGee - 15-20

Bench

Rondo - 20 plus
Hart - 20 plus
Stevenson 10-20
Kuzma - 20 plus
Beasley 10-20

Buttshifters off the bench

Zu - 5 plus , 10 plus with injuries
Svi - DNPs, G League
Wagner - DNPs G League
Caruso - DNPs G League
Wear - DNPs G league
Bonga - Cameo Gleague

I think only Zu will get minutes based on matchups. Others will not get much meaningful minutes unless we have a lot of injuries.

I think this is spot on except I think McGee get 20+ minutes every night.

I believe Bonga would be called up instead of svi, because of his contract: if Svi is called up 2x times, then his 2 way Contract no longer works.

Plz correct me if I am wrong.
