VS McGill

And.......definitely watch this one.
Possibly the most amazing High School Mix Tape ever.

Just incredible physicality, game IQ, Skill & Athleticism through the roof.

Kid is barely 18 and Skip and Shannon are already arguing that he is better than Jordan and Lebron at his age.

Steve Kerr seems to think so.

Anyone projected to be better than Jordan or LeBron should be the no. 1 pick in the draft

Anyway the Lakers can get this guy? Can he just skip the draft and sign on as a try out?

Nope, everyone's gotta enter a draft before going to the NBA.

I watched those highlights expecting to be blown away by Zion. He was good, though the Lebron/MJ comparison is a stretch. What blew me away was how bad Kentucky looked. Wow. Calipari has some work to do.

MJ I understand. LeBron, hell no.

I've been thinking of a suitable comment after watching the video for a while now.

I open the thread and read this.

All that had to be said has been said with your post. I have nothing of further value to add to this discussion.

285 pounds? Holy cow.

Entertaining to watch. Looks like there is not much resistance against him - so he might end up like LeBron. Crazy athletic but underdeveloped skills.

He's built like Kentucky Randle, but with great speed, bounce and really nice handles. Lebron is one of the most naturally talented passers in history. Don't see that in Zion. He's a more athletic Ben Simmons with slightly less passing skills. Looks like he has a jumpshot at this point unlike Ben so a great talent overall.

Kinda makes me wonder what Shaq would have been like if he had stopped growing around 6'6 to 6'8.

Given his work ethic, lack of shooting and terrible FT shooting, probably a significantly lesser player than he turned out to be as he won't be able to dominate the bigs like he did.

The most underrated part of his game is his court vision. Not half the court like most NBA point guards. Full crosscourt stuff on standstill.

The lack of work ethic thing might stay the same, but the shooting and skills, I think he would have developed. His hands wouldn't have grown as big and would have helped his shooting. These kids, their bodies dictate the path they go, the way they play, and how the coaches mold them. Shaq always wanted to be a wing player, but grew too big.

True meaning of "tanking" requires you to be good in the first place. I know the media tosses this word around, but really, it's synonym for being bad. Sure, you can push yourselves to be even worse, hence, tanking.

It's not like we locked a super hero in the closet all these years.

Man, when the Cavs are bad. They are bad for the all the right drafts. LOL! Lebron, Kyrie, and possibly Zion.

It would be MUCH better for the NBA if the Knicks somehow lucked into drafting Zion.

LOL @ being better than Lebron at 18. LeBron wasn't a 285 pound tweener with no J and an okay floor vision. LeBron was quicker, more athletic, with a better NBA body, and far, far more game/polish. Zion's good, kind of reminds me of Randle a bit, but with far more pop and explosion.
