Did I not post the tweet that said Brandon wasn’t making the trip? My bad let me go back and find that tweet

TRUDELL TWEET FROM YESTERDAY ON BRANDON

Brandon Ingram (sprained left ankle) is not on the trip with the Lakers. He’s staying in L.A., and will miss Friday’s game at San Antonio and Saturday’s at Memphis. He’s scheduled for a precautionary MRI on Thursday evening.
https://twitter.com/lakersreporter/status/1070794180807421952?s=21

So now that I’m reading this again it happened last night? So yeah they probably do know and are just not disclosing at this time for whatever reason.

BRANDON AND MICHAEL BEASLEY

You no doubt have heard about Brandon but Michael Beasley is out as well. Well heck…

Per Ohm

Brandon Ingram’s MRI confirms sprained ankle and he will be re-evaluated in a week; Lakers also will be without Michael Beasley, who was excused from Saturday’s game at Memphis due to a family health matter

RONDO UPDATES

Per Oram
Luke Walton says Rajon Rondo has his hand drained today and the Lakers are shutting him down for a few days. That means both he and Brandon Ingram will be (most likely) out for the rematch against Houston on Thursday. Spit Spat 2 on hold.

Lakers correct the record. He had his hand drained on Sunday

He wasn’t cleared for full contact activities but he was fully participating in other aspects of the practice. So shutting him down and having his hand drained sounds like a little bit of a setback to me.

Brandon Update

Per Trudell

Brandon Ingram (sprained left ankle) will not travel with the Lakers on the road trip the team is about to depart for. Luke Walton said he’ll be re-evaluated on Saturday.
https://twitter.com/lakersreporter/status/1072953874766413824?s=21

Per Bres (he meant to type ankle, not knee)

Brandon Ingram will not travel with the team to Houston, as expected, and will be evaluated again Saturday.

If Ingram’s knee feels better, there’s a change he meets up with the team later that day in Charlotte, Luke Walton said.

Rondo Update

Per Bres

Rajon Rondo is also not traveling with the team to Houston. He will see a hand specialist Thursday and the next steps will be determined at that point.

Saturday ... just happens to be the trade deadline xD

*Puts on tinfoil hat* Did anyone watch the interview with Luke? He seemed a little weird when asked if Brandon was traveling, he was much more natural discussing Rondo. Furthermore if Rondo's medical advice is good he's clear to rejoin the team on the road, with BI it's "we'll make that decision when it comes Saturday". Something could be happening to Ingram 0.0

*Takes off tinfoil hat* Ridiculous theory!

JAVALE AND RONDO

bad news good news...

Per Trudell

Update from Lakers PR: JaVale McGee is questionable for tonight’s game in Charlotte with flu-like symptons. Also, Rajon Rondo saw the doctor in L.A. and was cleared to resume all basketball activities, though he’ll remain in L.A. during this road trip (team back on Wednesday).

JAVALE

Per Trudell

Luke Walton said JaVale McGee (flu-like symptoms) is feeling a bit better, but will be a true game-time decision. Tyson Chandler would start if McGee can’t play.
