Would be funny as hell if none of Cleveland, Phoenix, or the Knicks get Zion |

Why wasn’t Zu getting any floortime earlier this year? |
because he was pretty bad earlier this year |
In the month of October ZU played 7 Min Total
November: He had one 20 min game and had 9/8 on 4/5 shooting
apart from that game - 11 min, 2min and a 7 min game.
Month of December: he had a 3 game streak of 30 min a game.
16/11 with 2 blocks and 2 steals
19/4 with 4 blocks
18/11 and 2 blocks
January is his best month when it comes to minutes and production
Zu has had 9 double digit point games in the month of January when he has had consistent minutes every game. |
What if the timing has just been perfect for him?
He had a promising rookie year. And then he regressed in his sophmore year according to the organization. But through all the whirlwind this past offseason the team opted to keep him.
He played well overseas, came back got sick. He was brought up slow so what, it seems to have worked for him.
He is our most fresh best player right now, for a big I think this is huge going into the home stretch. It probably isnt intentional who knows? But I'm actually glad it is working out the way it is.
We were a top seed when Lebron got hurt, I just dont see why we have to whine all the time. What we were doing was working. |
No whining here dude im just saying you cant say he underperformed this season when he had inconsistent minutes and im being nice when i say inconsistent. But i agree with you we were in a good spot when we were all healthy. I see this as a positive Luke gets to see what Zu is capable of rather than we just throw him away. |

I do notice he has a tendency to get down on himself when he makes a mistake or misses a bunny. For the most part he is playing great in these times. Good sign he expects alot of himself and has some passion and expectation. |

Early this season he was getting burned badly on defense, to the point where he didn't belong on an NBA floor even if he was able to score. Some of those 7 minute games he'd already collected enough fouls to be in foul trouble. He's improved tremendously. He wasn't earning his playing time in November. He certainly is now. |

Entertaining effort. Early on Brandon was unstoppable and the ball was hopping and, of course, they let the opponent back in but didn't shy away from the 3 down the stretch and it paid off.
I watched the Suns feed and while I don't agree with them straight making fun of Svi in their postgame, one of them made a good point. EJ said Svi has the shot, the talent but he just has no confidence right now. We all know how good he can shoot, if he had that going right now they are entirely a different team. |

I'm kind of hoping that Keanu Reeves forms an ownership group and takes over an NBA franchise that ends up drafting Zion.
Movie rights plus a sequel. |
