A team making it to the World Series or Super Bowl should not be on the list.
I give it to the Kings considering they are basically in last place in the western conference and 2nd worst record in the NHL.

I have no idea why everyone loves this place so much. It's pretty average. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
Has to be the Dodgers. No championships since 1988 despite making the playoffs 12 times and winning 10 division titles during that team. 0 for 4 in the division series until they finally made the next round, 0 for 4 in the championship series before finally making it to the World Series, and 0 for 2 in the World Series since finally making it that far. 6 straight division titles and no championships. 2-6 in the final 2 rounds of the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the San Francisco Giants have won it all 3 times since 2010 and even the Cubs and Red Sox have broken their curses and won (the Red Sox won 4 times ).
Losing to the Houston Astros was the worst. I thought that was going to be the year.
I didn’t think the Rams would beat the Saints on the road so in my mind the team overachieved a little bit. And expectations for the Rams and Kings will be lower. The Lakers normally have the highest expectations but after the Kobe retirement and the CP3 trade being stopped my expectations have been lower recently. Plus nobody is beating the Warriors anyway.
They don’t have many fans so there aren’t many people for them to disappoint. But thinking about this some more, they never made the third round and didn’t win anything with CP3 and Blake so there’s that. They always seemed to find a way to collapse and should have made the conference finals 2 or 3 times.
The Lakers last championship was in 2010 and I’ve seen the team win 5 since I’ve been a fan. Compare that to the Dodgers who can’t even win 1 and the Clippers (assuming they even count) who can’t make the 3rd round.

The Chargers because they've never won a Super Bowl and because no one in L.A. (except for me) cares about them or even notices that they exist. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers
Kobe tears his achilles, ends his career on tank teams.
3 seasons later... still no young superstar has taken Kobe's place. Just mediocre ass teams that can't even make the 8th spot.
Luol Deng getting paid millions and didn't even play any games.
Management has turned their backs to all the young kids we drafted. DLo and Randle gone. Ingram, Kuz, Ball don't know if they'll be here next season. Zubac gone.
Another head coach about to be fired.
Everyone's egos hurt by a trade that didn't even happen.

It’s the McD of xiao long bao
Didn't they get a Michelin star?
Yes, if I recall correctly, they received one for their Hong Kong branch. In comparison to their overseas locations, their Arcadia locations are average at best. Haven’t been to the South Coast Plaza one, but I’m not waiting x hours for average dumplings again.
I’m not surprised that on a Laker forum the Lakers are the top choice, but I think we’ve been spoiled by the success of our team with 5 championships since 2000. Chicago hasn’t done (bleep) since MJ, NY hasn’t won since the 70’s, Utah looks back on the glory days of the late 90’s when they choked in the finals, Sacramento looks back at 2002 when they cried about the refs, and the Clippers still never made the 3rd round. I could go on and on.
Since 2012, 26 of the 30 teams haven’t won (bleep). It’s been a couple of Lebron teams winning, the Warriors, the Spurs once and everyone else didn’t do (bleep), even OKC with Durant, Harden and Westbrook.
That’s why people still envy the Lakers. They are jealous of the success.
If the Dodgers could have Laker type problems with 5 championships since 2000 I’d take that in a heartbeat. It beats watching reruns and highlights of the 88 World Series which I didn’t even watch because I was too young to know what a World Series was. Meanwhile Sacramento fans probably watch regular season highlights from when they won a division title over 15 years ago.

If you don't care about something or notice it exists, how can it be disappointing?
As for the LA Kings, they had such a long run of sustained success, a run unprecedented in franchise history. It's really difficult to manage the salary cap in today's NHL, so I'm not surprised that they have taken a step back and may finally be close to undertaking a rebuild. (The Blackhawks are facing similar circumstances after a long run of success.) It obviously isn't ideal that the Kings are struggling, but I'm not surprised and, therefore, I guess I'm not disappointed because I was kind of expecting it.
why so many voted for Lakers? they're not close to be even a contender. whereas the Dodgers were so close to win the '17 WS it's still eating me up alive inside every time i think about it. that was the biggest choke job ever in LA pro sport as far as i can remember.
