Wish that Fox was chosen instead of Lonzo with the second pick.
Fox is the fastest guy in the league and can shoot.
Lonzo may have a bigger upside when he learns to shoot.
But Fox is there right now.
We were never going to draft Fox, Magic had decided on Lonzo before working any players out. Lonzo bombed his workout and Magic gave him a second chance to justify his decision. There was never another choice.
Surely you'd have some kind of proof for this statement.
Yes, it’s called watching what happened.
There were reports Magic wanted Fox but Jeannie told him to draft Lonzo.
On offense, shooting, speed, penetration, dribbling, toughness...Id take Fox.
On passing, defense, length, court vision, rebounding and floor general qualities...take Lonzo.
But if I can redo the draft, I'd take Fox or that Celtic dude. _________________ Trade AD now.

It would be nice if Zo could play as many games as Tatum and Fox throughout a season, too. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

I do believe Lonzo and Ingram are the future. Let's just hope they can be all star caliber players or we are sunk
I don't think any of those two will be anything more than key contributors. We'll
need to find those rare super stars elsewhere...It's all a matter of option though,
but I don't see them on any pedestal other than the one some want/wish they
were on...oh, and there's nothing wrong with being a key contributor.... _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team !

At 59 I started doing yoga about 4 months ago and the difference in balance and flexibility is amazing.
NICE! VLF
I've been practicing for 20 years...only days that the body hurts are the days I miss my practice. It's been around for over 3500 years so I'd say it's a proven therapy at this point.
Zo is like a lot of kids...our educational systm6has failed them...they dont know anything about their body...how to care for it...how to fuel it...how to heal it...wish they'd bring back focused physical fitness and cooking and civics into the high school curricula. _________________ "If You're Afraid To Fail...Then You're Probably Going To Fail."

I agree the benefits of yoga practice for me have been multiple. Practicing almost daily for almost 3 years has been very rewarding. I have some problems due to old injuries that have been improved incredibly. As VLF stated balance and flexibility are improved as well as strength, stamina and patience. At least for me. I think it is something that can help everyone due to it's flexible nature. Plus once you learn some important basics, there is no need to go to the gym. Just roll out your mat and go get sweaty.
Yoga ain't no joke. You've got to be strong to do it correctly.
Lonzo will be fine. This was an injury that could have happened to any player. There is no amount of preparation that can prevent spraining your ankle when someone sticks their foot and body underneath it.
This wasn't a "cut" sprain where he lost his balance trying to make a move.
This was a "guy runs into you and sticks his size 14 under your foot" injury.
When you watch his highlights from this season, you really see that we miss his presence, he is the only guy besides LeBron who makes the engine run for this team...

Our best defensive player BY FAR and that is indisputable. Like Phil says, what good is it if he can't stay on the court. No doubt our training staff is poor, but one has to question if this kid (at such a young age) is made of glass.

I'm not sure you have to question..
Calf injury (summer league), shoulder issue (rookie year), knee issue (MCL rookie year and all off season), ankle issue this year....
going to miss 30+ games for the 2nd year in a row.
I get that some of the injuries weren't preventable, but man, missing 60+ games in your first two seasons is _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

I still like Lonzo as a long term prospect more, but there is no denying the impact that Fox makes. The reason for Sacramento's success this season, despite being littered with young talent, is that Fox constantly pushes the pace at a breakneck speed that doesn't allow the defense to ever get properly set up. I can only imagine how effective our fast breaks would be with him leading the charge.
I was wrong about Fox. Still not convinced he's a perennial all star, but he's made a major positive impact for the Kings in his 2nd year. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Yea very disappointing, rolled ankles are all too common in basketball but for it to happen to him specifically and at the time it did has been devastating to the team. His presence is missed even more than the biggest Lonzo believers could’ve expected. They need him back before he misses 30 games if they want to make the playoffs.

So what's the latest on his return timeline? I read that he has a bone bruise that further complicates his return. When I saw the 4-6 week timeline initially, I automatically knew that meant 8 weeks. So I'm guessing towards the end of March, for our final 8 games or so. _________________ “You can't be held captive by the fear of failure or the fear of what people may say.” - Kobe Bryant
