This Damon Jones interview on 710 right now is pretty good. He's so calm and thoughtful with his replies. He's a big Lebron fan, so it's pumping me up as a Lakers fan.

Just doing an early vent. In case he's released Sunday.
Sorry, saw a tweet about him being released. Then saw the the guys profile and he doesnt seem legit.

I am surprised they can not trade him...he is one of the last contracts that can use the non-guaranteed loophole. Would think someone would want to dump money to Cleveland with draft assets to get JR's contract.

Damon Jones should be apart of the Lakers, he seems to be really close with LeBron.

Currently, LBJ is in intensive care.

AD has shrunk to 5'10.

I hate the narrative that Lebron is now Injury prone now because he had a injury last season

$3.87....but $15.68 in a trade. It would have been the perfect way to dump Deng if we had not stretched him....then he would have only been $3.87 on the books this year.

LOL. Thank you. Man spends millions on his body and took an awkward fall to hurt himself. As much as I like Kawhi he is more injury prone than Lebron.

not sure it is a narrative as much as a "back to reality" issue for many. Stars in their mid 30's usually cannot play the minutes he does with his usage. We had began to think he was an anomaly, but last year illustrated he probably is not to the degree we thought.

What would we have attached to get rid of Deng though?

Not sure what is going on with Jimmy Butler and his camp. He appears to be the most quiet max FA on the market. He obviously would not be my first choice, but I think there is a misconception in regards to his minutes played and his usage since he was under Thibodeau. Here is a list of current active players with more minutes played:

Paul George
Damian Lillard
Kemba Walker
Demarcus Cousins

Right behind him within 500 minutes:

Kyrie Iriving
Bradley Beal

The Jimmy Butler silence is odd. You would think it would've been communicated to him by now that the Sixers are going to give him the max. Wonder why that hasn't come out yet.

I think Philly will offer Jimmy the max and he'll take it.

If DLO is immediately waived and signed by LA for $22 million... Lakers may end up with $10 million to sign a defensive wing / 3D player.

I like Bojan but I think we need a facilitator more than a shooter.

DLo will amplify the scoring of both Kuzma and AD. Bojan averages 1.4 assists per game throughout his career. Beverley 3.5 assists as a point guard.

I'm not sure Beverley's defense will offset that loss in playmaking.

Beverly shoots consistent 40% form 3. He does things well on offense very underrated part of his game due to his nasty defense he plays. Him and DLO would be ideal for this team

Have you ever said to yourself or your friends watching a game... Gee, we should be good if Pat doesn't go off?

Lol

That isn't on the Lakers Facebook page....plus the Lakers themselves wouldn't write that they are front runners to sign DLo. So, where did he get it from?
