He’s one of those guys, along with Keith Carradine, Sam Shepherd, and Robert Redford (and maybe Harrison Ford) that just are able to play laconic and yet urgent. _________________ “We must always take sides. Great actor, RIP. Loved him in The Trip and of course Easy Rider. It's cool how him and his dad each helped spearhead two distinct eras of hollywood leading men. Both great in their own right.
I never saw that film, though I know he received an Oscar nomination for his role in it. RIP.
I think the movie as a whole holds up even if it feels very 90s indie at times. It's a quiet film held together by Fonda's quiet, simmering performance. _________________ Under New Management
