Of all of the "voices of the NBA" during my lifetime, he is easily the worst. Easily. Al Michaels would probably tell you that basketball is his worst sport and I would rather have him call a basketball game over Breen.

We should know more tomorrow.

"Officiating crew chief James Capers said postgame that the call was reviewable, but that the Rockets did not challenge it within the allowed 30-second window. D’Antoni, however, says the officials were unclear in their explanations to him on what the call actually was — and thus, he didn’t immediately know what to challenge."

That sounds idiotic. The refs missed it, sure, but the Rockets blew a 20 point lead and also were the beneficiaries of some insanely obvious bad calls themselves that more than made up for the two points they lost.

For them to blame this loss on that one play is completely asinine. Harden and Westbrook shooting 18/68 is what lost the game for them. Between regulation and the 2 OT, they played another 18 minutes of game after that blown call. The Rockets has ample opportunity to win the game and they also had a double digit lead at that point in time.

I would expect (and hope) that the league doesn't cave and do anything with regards to reversing the W/L or making them replay it. This only would create a stupid precedent for protests like this because of a missed call that happened with 10:00 left in the first quarter.

Mavs beat Pelicans by 46
Philly beat Cavs by 47

There have also been other crazy beat downs this year. Clippers did a number on several teams. I don't recall so many beat downs in a single season like this before, and it's only a quarter of the season.

It was denied by the NBA. There will be no replay. Even though the NBA blew the call, that should put to rest this topic. There will always be a human element and part of it is that mistakes will be made. Replaying almost 8 minutes of the game because they didn't get the outcome they wanted is dumb.

Paul George shooting 42% from 3 at more than 9 attempts per game is ridiculous.

Matisse Thybulle has been a nice find for the Sixers. That team may be slowly starting to find themselves.

Raptors fans all class in Kawhi's return.

That is how you honor a guy that lead you to a title, very impressed with their fan base, organization and current team.

It would be fitting for the Lakers to end their streak since the Bucks ended the Lakers 33 game winning streak.
