He has some of the best basketball analyses out there, but it's worth noting he ended up being crazy wrong about Brandon Ingram (yes, even the best can screw up). He ignored the end of last season and did not watch the games from my understanding. These kinds of things tend to happen when analysts watch highlight footage and not the actual games themselves, and sequences get taken entirely out of context. It's also completely understandable since analysts can't watch all games. |

I don't really remember his Ingram analysis, and for that matter I don't follow Ingram closely. What jumps out at me about Ingram this season is that he is taking a lot more threes and making them at a high percentage. I don't know whether this is a case of the coaching staff in New Orleans finally getting him to rely less on the long two, or whether this is just a matter of Ingram figuring it out. I remember that he did start taking more threes last year before he got hurt, but not to the extent that he has been taking threes this year.
Anyway, the most interesting part of the latest video, at least for me, was the Rondo section. Taylor is lot more positive about Rondo than most Laker fans. |
