Per Trudell
Both Rajon Rondo (non-displaced volar plate avulsion fracture of the right ring finger) and Anthony Davis (gluteus maximus contusion) are listed as questionable for the Celtics on Monday. Davis did not work out on Sunday morning.

The Lakers are listing Anthony Davis as questionable for tomorrow’s game in Boston. Although Frank Vogel had indicated Davis might work out this morning before the team flew, the Lakers say that didn’t happen.

Training staff that loves their neverending recouperations are using a butt bruise (not a bone bruise, nor structural damage) to draw this sh out on permanent day-to-day status and maybe/maybe nots. Are they waiting for the bruise to encompass no more than 3 ass hair follicles before they let him return? Kobe is smirking somewhere. He's gonna need to some time get his wind and shot suitable enough to play LAC on the 28th. If they just want to give him some LM while they have any reason, why don't they bring AD back and give Brawn some LM too? Call it a papercut - day-to-day.

Davis has been out since Jan. 7, when he fell and suffered the gluteus maximus contusion against the Knicks, missing 5 games. Meanwhile, Rajon Rondo - who hit a buzzer beater at Boston last year is questionable to play with the avulsion fracture in his right ring finger.

AD MINUTES RESTRICTION

Anthony Davis will indeed play tonight, and will be on restriction of 28 minutes. Could see him essentially play the first 7 minutes of the 1st and 3rd Q and the final 7 of the 2nd and 4th, for example. AD had a workout this morning and said he was ready to play.
