Great road win. I just hoped LBJ will play less. But all in all good trip so far. 3-1 is great. If they win next one in Philly will be great.

Idk what this means but I felt more comfortable with Kyrie on the floor than off against the Lakers.

They must have seriously hated giving up 70 in a half to come out and play completely different defensively in the second half. I don't think Brooklyn expected that and the Lakers just got cooking on both ends.

Gotta beat Philly, a loss to them, means the Lakers will have lost to 5 of the Top 6 teams in the East!

Not the way to gain respect...!

Brooklyn isnt very good but Lakers have completely choked them out with a suffocating D ...under 6 minutes and they scored all of 2 points until about the 5 minute mark.

It made it a LOT easier for the Lakers to start pressuring on defense when the Nets stopped making their wide open threes.

Ill d/c on replay but i dont recall that being as much a factor as lakers getting up on them

So, went back and checked for that end of 3rd quarter run to a little over 5 minutes in 4th (when Chandler hit a 3, after a 7+ minute drought of the Nets scoring only 2 points)

Nets took 5 three point attempts during the Lakers 26-2 run. 2 of them were wide open. The others contested. There would have been a 6th attempt, but there was that amazing defense sequence by the Lakers where it ended with a net player in the motion of starting a corner 3, KCP closed out and appears to almost swat it, the net player then puts ball on floor and goes at the rim but is challenged and lost ball out of bounds (this happens as clock winds down to about 6:58 mark in 4th). Rest of defense sequences during that run by Lakers were very good, Nets players challenged. Lakers were fighting over screens alot, and overall being very active.

Extremely good effort, glad I watched the replay cuz I saw things I didnt notice during the first watch.

Vogel during pregame "guys, go out there and have fun"

Vogel during half time "chit, we have to start palying some defense"

I didn't watch the whole game, I was watching Serena go down. Sounds like the Lakers figured out that defense wins ships.

I was doing the complete opposite but I watched Serena’s highlights. It’s really sad watching her nowadays. It reminds me of Kobe’s last couple seasons under Byron. Serena is the GOAT and if Naomi Osaka or Coco Gauff wanna challenge that Throne they gotta win a whole lot more. (LEBRON)

Kyrie looked to buddy buddy with Lebron last night. I Would think he’s somewhat unhappy there with all these reports of Nets personnel complaining but then I remembered Kevin Durant is on ice and will be back to help him next season.

Also hilarious that Kyrie was hiding the powder so Lebron couldn’t do his pre game chalk toss

What's sad? She's 38 and beating the youngsters. She may have a slam or two left in her.

5 3’s in 7 minutes is a lot, and none of them went in. That really allows things to snowball, especially when the Lakers were probably 6-6 or 7-7 from 3 during that same time period. The nets were only hanging around all game because they were making those open looks for the first 3 quarters.

The defense did improve but I thought it was a combination of a lot of things that contributed to that run. If it was just about playing better defense, they should be doing it all the time.
