If the regular season resumes with around eight games, KCP could hit his apg bonus ($350k) by averaging something like 3.5 apg. Have to figure the team is going to want him to get that.
I swear, whenever he takes a jumper, I feel it is going in...
Yep, his jumper is very pure... what a turnaround after the early struggles.. props to KCP for staying focused despite the criticism.
I feel the same way when he shoots the ball now. Before,i use to cringe when he would shoot the ball. I never cared for his game, but now I want him to stay on the team. I don't mind him starting at the 1. He provides height, length and terrific shooting at the position. He could stay in front of opposing 1s.
Pope really turned it around this season. Happy he's found his groove.
Needs to average something like 3.5 apg in the last 8 games to get a pretty big bonus in his contract. Would not be surprised if the team features him in a way that helps with that.

Yeah, he will have an opportunity with an increase in minutes and playing some more "point guard" with Bradley out.
It will be a team effort to make uo for the loss of Bradley.
It starts with KCP who is a good choice to start.
And Caruso for defensive matchups.
Waiters will have to make up the final slack.
Can't loose another player or it will be curtains.
KCP is going to be a major rotational player with Bradley/Rondo out. Hopefully he can deliver and be klutch. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Or benches him so that he doesn’t get it. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

That seems unlikely. He's only averaged 1.6 apg for his career (and 1.7 this year), so 3.5 is a huge jump. I doubt see the Lakers focusing on Pope's assists with so much else to worry about.

I saw what you did there. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
Come on KCP. We need you in a BIG WAY. I know he has gotten dinged up a couple of times in these fake games. He was our 3rd best player before the league stopped. If he does not start playing like he did before, we are in BIG TROUBLE.
Caldwell-Pope (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Nuggets, Bill Oram reports.
During Saturday's loss to the Pacers, Caldwell-Pope suffered the injury after being stepped on by Myles Turner. However, coach Vogel said "he's fine, everything came back clean", so the 27-year-old should not miss too much time with the ankle injury.
Once a clown, always a clown. Shame on us for getting fooled by his regular season redemption story. Some players just don't play well in the limelight, and he's definitely one of them.
