Would Ingram, Lonzo, and Hart do better if they were in the East? |

Yes they would. Brooklyn has been trying to give their playoff seat away all year with injuries, purposely sitting out people, getting surgeries, etc. But there are no takers. Looks like they're "stuck" in the playoffs. |

Wait, do we really want to face Portland in the first round while the Clipps have Dallas waiting for them whom I feel we would match up better against (average backcourt rather than PDX's). |

The Rockets won't be avoiding anyone. Still trying to get chemistry working with the version of this "new team" (small ball). |

Memphis are really bad. I hoped that they could at least maintain the 8th seed so maybe they could win 1 out of 2 games against the 9th seed but it doesn't seem likely. I think that right now the 8th-9th seed preplayoff may be between the Blazers and the Spurs. |

Rockets look like a clear rerun of yet another great offensive regular season team that doesn't translate very well deep in the Playoffs imo. They're a solid team but I def. wouldn't be worried about facing them. |

Eh it’s always better to hope and pray for easier teams especially in these conditions. Take for example a scenario where one of our players, especially someone like Bron or AD, has a family emergency. Normally, if that happens, the player can miss a day or two and just spend time with them. But now, if you leave, you may be quarantined for a whole series. Better to hope for an easy stretch down the road because anything can happen in these playoffs and honestly, playing a Rockets team that can get hot hitting threes at any time scares me more than the Clippers. |

To be honest, the only team that scares me more than the Clippers are the Raptors. The Bucks in the same tier as the Clippers. We shouldn't be having problems with any other team and if we lose in a 7-game series against any of them I think that we deserve to not win |

Who are these “easier teams” you are expecting to find?
Memphis is the weakest team the Lakers potentially face. And they are in jeopardy of losing the 8th spot to whichever team they have the play-in with.
The only other would be Denver if they still have three impact guards out.
No dismissing that the chances of losing a critical player is increased over the normal injury concerns due to playing in the bubble. But if rosters remain as expected every team 1-7 can get hot and outplay the Lakers if they are not matching that playoff intensity. The loss of Bradley’s defense allows opposing teams more hope of an upset if they can exploit it. Which most playoff teams have the guards to do.
Lakers need to flip that switch once the playoffs begin. Especially James. Just hope they can. Because there will be no easy series. These WC playoffs should be as entertaining as we have ever seen. Can’t wait. |

No rest for the 1 seed. I’m guessing this means Vogel is leaning towards decreasing minutes for LBJ, AD and others...just focus on playoff preparation in practice.

Updated. Not looking good. It's looking more and more like a Blazers-Rockets-Clippers-Bucks type of playoffs in that order. Imo, that's the worst case scenario. Let's just hope the Clippers lose some more games and the Jazz somehow over take the Clippers by some miracle and that way we can have Rockets/Clippers 4th and 5th seed.
Here is the current seeding (updated 8/4 EOD):
1. Lakers 51-15
2. Clippers 45-22
3. Nuggets 44-23
4. Rockets 42-25
5. Jazz 42-25
6. Thunder 41-25
7. Mavs 41-29
8. Grizzlies 32-36
9. Blazers 31-38 (1.5 gb)
10. Spurs 29-37 (2 gb)
11. Pelicans 29-38 (2.5 gb)
12. Suns 29-39 (3 gb)
13. Kings 28-39 (3.5 gb)
Important games 8/5:
Grizzlies v. Jazz
Nuggets v. Spurs
Thunder v. Lakers |

Am I kidding about Houston focusing on getting chemistry under a new system as opposed to avoiding LAC to play LeBron and AD instead?

They just lost JJJ with a meniscus injury. Looks like Portland it'll be. _________________ Under New Management |

I meant they will play Lakers first. They will not go to 3rd seed. They will settle at 4/5. |

There's also a possibility that Clippers can end up 3rd and Houston 6th so that could be the best scenario. Clips/Rox play each other the first round and winner face the Nuggets in round 2. |

Booker scored the game winner over both KL & PG ! Of course, Lou Will would've shut him down. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Lou was playing as well But there's little chance Doc trusts him on the floor in the last 2 minutes xD |
