The Suns beat the Thunder 128-101 to improve to 6-0 in the bubble, led by Devin Booker's 35 points. They're a 1/2 game behind POR for the No. 9 spot. Headline writers, have at it: Scorching! Sizzling! Rising Suns! Book it!

Suns sporting a net rating of 11.1 in the bubble. That's GSW stuff

GS.... The thought of them coming back healthy, with a prime Wiggins, and Wiseman is scary. This is the best chance LeBron has a at a championship, unless we get a 3rd star i dont see us coming out of the west next year.

They'll have a depth problem, though.

Curry, Klay, Wiggins and Green will make a combined $129M next year.

All those contracts go up to 2023 or so. Not easy to trade, specially Wiggins ($29M next year) and Green who aren't exactly superstars.

Aside from the probable #1 pick, they have only #48 and #50.

Obviously this can change with a blockbuster trade, but as things stand today the Warriors will have to fill their roster with veterans on a minimum deal

Sadly, I think it's pretty obvious they plan to make a big trade depending who is available.. I just hope The Greek Freak doesn't lose this year and start his demand out which many have already predicted. That GS state team with him in the middle with Klay and Steph on the outside would be a possible monster depending how they fill the rest of the roster.

You also forgot to mention the future probable lottery pick in Minnesota's first in 2021 from the Wiggins trade. Two lottery picks along with Wiggins and whatever else is a pretty great starting point for any trade available.

I'm 100% rooting against it though haha

Faigen Is Prophetic

Per Tania G

The NBA announced it is going to have a Bubble MVP and an All-Bubble Team and I assume the latter will just be the Phoenix Suns?

But no wonder they came out so slow to start the game.

I can see them going after Embiid. Will probably have to deal Wiggins, Green, and the #1 pick to get that 3rd star that can compliment Steph and Klay. But even as constructed i see them as a top 3 team in the west next year with us being 5th right behind Denver. Hoping Kuzma stays a consistent 18-20ppg and we find a diamond in the rough in the draft or summer league. Otherwise the next few seasons are gonna feel like 2013-2018. I don't think Avery, Dwight, or Dion are coming back next year so our roster is going to take a big hit.

Watching Portland’s horrible defense I’m not sure they would be our toughest first round opponent 🤔🤔🤔

I mean hell I guess it’s a wild card because Dame, CJ and Melo can go off but I’m more confident we’d be able to contain the rest.

An before someone says we beat them twice without Nurkic playing , historically AD has owned him. AD has basically owned the Blazers franchise his entire career. An don’t get me started if Rondo comes back.

I'm not feeling very confident right now. Bradley opting out was a big loss and Rondo getting injured to a lesser degree. Getting the #1 seed has less meaning now because one of the main reasons you play for the #1 seed is to get home-court advantage where your odds go up in a playoff series. If the Lakers don't win it as long as the team that does is not the Celtics or Clippers I'm good.

Dame has almost 60 points and is still losing

Portland can't defend at all

Is this Stan Van Gundy calling this Portland Dallas game? His voice is not as good as Jeff’s for this kind of work....

Its crazy how dame and lebron are ref'd so differently. If you have a reputation as a jump shooter you get literally every call. Playoffs could go either way against them if hes getting these kind of calls

I really like Damian Lillard so I watch a lot of Portland games and they would drive me insane if they were my team. Their defense just absolutely goes away periodically. They’ll have a game under control, everything rolling, and then all of a sudden the defense will just cease to exist.

All legitimate concerns.
It’s pretty much up for grabs for anyone who’s in the postseason.

Having Lebron and AD does ease that worry for me to a certain degree.
Also the team struggling early in the bubble restart was concerning but better earlier than late I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️
