I remember at the time when the moderator JD used to bag on the Lakers and anyone on the thread, who thought that Lamar Odom could actually play and thrive as a power forward in the NBA. Man, did Lamar prove him wrong... _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

I'd like to see Kuz do a better job of running the floor each time we get the ball for easy layups and dunks in transition. He used to do that pretty well at times.
Besides that, I'm real pleased with how he has played so far this season. Love the improved 3-point shooting! _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

^ I think he’s sacrificing those leak outs now in order to get back on the defensive glass. I’m fine with that especially in our smaller lineups. |

Two in a row double doubles, good for him. Great game overall aside from that one dumb over the back. I hope he keeps up the effort. |

Agreed. Kuz is really good in transition and off ball. He has improved his 3s too. Besides, he is good in rebounding and has improved his defense. He is on the right track to be a Horry type player. |

He's currently shooting 40% from 3. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Kuz has been outstanding this season playing and most importantly embracing his role.
His mentality and approach to the game for a player his age has been fantastic.
He's a key piece and contributor on this team. _________________ Everyting negative - pressure, challenges - is all an opportunity for me to rise.

He’s becoming more and more interesting trade asset. His offense comes and go but his effort and his defense has been consistent. |

Kuzma’s effort on the boards for extra possessions had made him more valuable. He always runs in when the shot goes up. He needs to continue doing that |

Kuz is more effective when he isn't put into a position to think or do too much |

He has a 3 year $39 million dollar contract this year. That's why.
When a player has that, they stress less about their personal stats. Especially when the whole franchise preaches it's just about chips.
He could end up having a Draymond in GS-like career here if we keep winning. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Behind the back dribble to evade his defender, the drive, the lob to Trez was so nice |

Some of those rebounds
He really took off and grabbed those, and kept at it.
AS 818fan said, he is doing some of the little things now. +10 with 8 boards in just 22 min. Impact. |

Yeah, he's starting to have that Caruso effect on the game where even if he doesn't shoot it that well you still know he made a huge impact whether the stat sheet shows it or not. Played some great defense at times, helped nicely on a few plays and even displayed some fantastic foot work on a nice shot in the paint. The rebounding has really stood out like you said though!
Pretty cool seeing him transition into this current version as before the bubble last season he was easily one of the Lakers that frustrated me the most in recent years during games but that Kuzma seems like a lifetime ago at this point. |

What's great about Kuz right now is he is becoming such a complete player.
We all know he can get buckets if he's called upon to be one of the focal points of an offense.
Now he's impacting the game with boards, defense, passing and just fantastic energy.
He continues to move the ball on offense and is not forcing anything at all.
Passing up good shots to get great shots.
He took a total of 5 shots & does not care.
He's constantly on the court playing for the TEAM.
The maturation of Kuz is beautiful to see. _________________ Everyting negative - pressure, challenges - is all an opportunity for me to rise.

He should continue focusing doing the dirty works, his scoring will come naturally.
He's learning now, he's not low iq like what I thought.
Meanwhile boneheaded McGee tried to dribble coast to coast earlier that led to a TO and lakers bucket. Guess some low bball iq player will always ba like that. But Kuzma has proving me wrong as of now. Hopefully he keep this up. |

The rebounds and the blocks are the two things I'm liking the most from him right now. Those are effort plays. |

Who would have thought Kuz would evolve into dirty work/blue collar Kuz? Love seeing him fight for boards and play defense. Not forcing things on offense either. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Doing whatever it takes to win. Gotta love the willingness to do whatever his team needs. Kuzma now is sort of like the Larry Nance of the Lakers. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |
