Alright so we're going to have to run it like this(when Monk comes back...)

Starters:
Russell Westbrook
Malik Monk
LeBron James
Anthony Davis
Deandre Jordan

Bench:
Kendrick Nunn / Austin Reaves
Kent Bazemore / Rajon Rondo
Wayne Ellington
Carmelo Anthony
Dwight Howard

Seems like it.

By no means a knock at u since I also think this is going to happen but why the hell is DeAndre starting or playing at all ahead of Dwight???? JaVale playing ahead of Dwight used to piss me off so much since it was obvious who was the better player and I always felt Shaqtin should play when someone got in foul trouble. Look at Dwight. Do u think he will get winded or tired playing 30 minutes a night? His only problem is foul trouble and thats when someone like DJ or McGee should play

Dwight is a foul machine. Refs call games tight in the beginning - if Dwight starts, he'll get 2 fouls in the first 2 minutes. Bringing him off the bench after the refs loosen up will preserve his fouls and he'll play more.

This may be a Wally Pipp moment for Monk or Nunn.

I'm not sure that the trainers can do anything to prevent a torn thumb ligament. I doubt that the team plays Thumb War in training. Have we ever gotten a definitive story on how he tore the ligament?

Not yet, hopefully soon.

While prevention measures would be elusive for basketball, it is hopeful Roger Sancho’s team will effectively manage THT’s rehab and get him back up to speed. Considering the Vitti era training staff had Nash do calf raises on a non-displaced fractured fibula, injury management decisions can make a difference in recovery time.

His attitude towards referees really sucks. I watched a ref gesture for the ball from Dwight.. he didn't care.. does a dunk with it and something else and then sets it on the ground about 6 feet away from the ref.. <<and he already had a tech.. preseason.. Made me think his old ass could get a roid test soon if he doesn't cool it. that is childish behavior.. not something a conscious professional does at least not imho.. if he sees the refs as his enemy then they will be his enemy

I remember long long ago Kobe being interviewed and asked about his longevity etc.. He said Phil asked/told him to reduce his dunks or he could end up like Vince and jumpers knee

Dunks are cool.. but 2pts is 2pts.. scoreboard doesn't give a (bleep) how it went in.

THT, I don't care if you can dunk anything.. just efficiently make two points.

These injuries are really killing the mood. Hopefully it just means we are getting them out of the way early and not a sign of things to come.

Get healthy soon THT. And good luck to HBK, I think he's going to see more minutes than anyone planned at this rate.
