Lawsuits don’t land you in jail. Criminal convictions do.

Surprised he didn't get it when Cruella Deville had it.

Aren't some of the suits against his real-estate company, the Trump Organization criminal? If so and he loses the suit it will land him in jail.

No, they are civil matters where a plaintiff seeks relief or remedy. The matters where he can go to jail are criminal charges.

Just an incredible milestone for the United States Senate: more Republicans have tested positive for COVID-19 than have accepted Joe Biden as the president-elect.

Obama giving Biden the medal of freedom during his last few days in office

Maybe Biden could open his Presidency returning the honor. Maybe throw one in for Hilary too.

Yep, finally...finally...certified. Kudos to GA for not falling for Orange Nut's games. I think the Pubs in control of the election there took offense to Lord small hands suggesting they did not properly control the election, they were not going to be swayed by his stupidity.

Also sounds like the MI folks were not impressed. I'm sure after that gets certified we will hear Trump and Company gripe those Pubs were on the take or somesuch.

I wouldn't put it past them to have done that on purpose as a fast one. Just throw in a bunch of county names and maybe the judge won't realize it and then they could always fall back on the accident claim if it fell apart. At least 1% of a chance that was it. They are conceivably that batty (including head vampire Rudy).

The election is over and clearly, Joe Biden won. He ranks number 1 in popular votes in American history. Still, I'm haunted by the possibility of Trump winning office. When I think of him winning I shudder.

I feel like Obama, I have faith in the American citizenry. Basically, a vast number of Americans wants us to live up to its creed, "All Men Are Created Equal" That says to me, not in my lifetime but sometime in the future, it will come to pass.

I'm not surprised by Trump's refusal to accept defeat. I am dismayed by the number of Republicans not standing up to him.

Trump lost. Accept defeat and move on. Not certifying the election results is a black mark on the party.

How their not standing up to him affects the next election cycle will say a lot about the country's feelings about racism.

Joe and Kamala are the right people at the right time.

KEEP THE FAITH!!!

Trump is golfing today. He has stopped play-acting any presidential duties whatsoever. People are dying and he doesn't care. He is preventing transition to Biden and trying to sabotage the next administration. He has had no briefings or official scheduled meetings since the election. His days consist of rage-tweeting, attacks, lies, spewing conspiracy theories and playing golf. So basically a slight more extreme version of the last 4 years.

And I still can't believe 73+ million people voted for this disgraceful traitor.

Cowards and complicit traitors:

Washington Post: Most Republicans greet Trump’s push to overturn the election with a customary response: Silence

Quote:
Three Senate Republicans have publicly criticized President Trump’s effort to overturn election results in states that he lost. A couple more have acknowledged that President-elect Joe Biden is likely to be sworn in as the 46th president on Jan. 20, without addressing Trump’s actions.

The rest did what many Republicans have done for four years when faced with Trump’s brazen, sometimes outlandish actions: They said nothing, or tried to avoid the issue.

Quote:
The Washington Post contacted all 53 Republican U.S. senators for comments on the president’s efforts to overturn the election results, including his invitation to Michigan’s GOP legislative leaders to a meeting Friday as he tries to block the state from certifying Biden’s victory with a margin of about 150,000 votes there.

Fewer than 10 senators’ offices responded. Of those, most declined to comment or referred to previous remarks — in some cases remarks that predated Trump’s actions this week, including his call to a county canvassing board member in Michigan.

Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Mitt Romney of Utah and Ben Sasse of Nebraska, each of whom has been critical of Trump in the past, were the only Republicans to tackle the president’s actions head-on.

Trump complained about how much time Obama spent playing golf.
The calendar posted date doesn't say whether or not what was posted was actually done. They are supposed.

Google Calendar iCal (Google) JSON CSV (Excel)Donald Trump - President's Public Schedule

Schedule updates at midnight Eastern Time, or when pushed out via social media, whichever is earlier. Available as a Google Calendar. Calendar maintained in U.S. Eastern Time and may publish earlier when Trump is overseas.

What is it with the laughing at and joking gestures with people at fox? When talking about non republicans there is a lot of smirks and laughs as if something is funny they disagree on.

I don't even watch fox news, but it seems to be a thing they do. It gives me the creeps seeing this, like something out of 1984, the novel.
