Double the output of Danny Green who took more shots and makes more than 7x what Kuz does.

He is garbage too, but nobody expects DG to be our 3rd best option. Kuzma is on rookie contract trying to get a large one, he should have way more incentive to play better

He doesn’t get the ball and they don’t run plays for him.

You think he should be running point?

I think he should be playing defense at least.

Sure. But he’s also not a great defender.

We aren’t using him correctly at all. He’s not someone we should be trading IMO. He’s well worth the vet min he is being paid.

Wrong Laker.

I'd take 2008-2012 Bynum over Kuzma.

We can’t trade 2008-2012 Bynum.

I'm ready to move on from Malibu Barbie. I think we've seen all we need to see from him.

If he stays, I hope he proves me wrong.

Why would you want to trade him at his lowest possible value?

Which vet min player should we trade him for?

Or are we talking 2nd round pick?

Why are you under the impression that it has to be a min player?

That is not how things work. You can add salary fillers fyi.. or maybe that perspective works for you since you are a fan of kylie kuzma.

I don't believe that we can take the risk of facing the playoff with kuzma.

Our window for a title is small, and probably next year will be even harder, with lbj 1 year older and nets and maybe warriors back in the contenders picture.

Nothing seen so far suggests the kuzma play can elevate in the playoff, rather the opposite.

So let's trade him, and that's it.

You don't need to add salary fillers to ride the trade Kuzma train. You can move just him right now, to any team in the league, with ease.

Clarkson without the shot creating ability. Send him to cleveland or sac so he can get his "shine"

lol @ Kuz being the scapegoat for the team's problems.

He's a symptom of the problem. He's not the problem.

Kuzma is the future face of the Lakers. Kuzma is a future all-star. Kuzma is a franchise player.

This is actually the only option the Lakers have left right now

Saw Vogel use a lot of lineups with Kuz, AD, Bron last night

Usually Bradley, Defensive Demon, Rondo, KCP, Green manning the two perimeter spots

Of those five only KCP and Defensive Demon provided anything

All three of Rondo, Green, Bradley should be demoted

Bradley should come off the bench if the Lakers are winning to provide ball pressure to protect leads

Rondo should be at the very end of the bench

Green simply cannot guard small forwards (like Tobias Harris) or perimeter players with speed/power (Westbrook)

So Green needs to go to the bench too with Bradley

Defensive Demon and KCP should start if you want traditional lineups

If think Kuzma has “anything at all” left in the tank at the “geriatric age of 24”

Can start Kuzma and Bron in the backcourt with a front court of AD, McGee, Dwight

This would provide “physicality” that we need

Post up Kuzma or Bron on the smallest defender on the other team

Pound them

If get into foul trouble so what?

That’s when you bring in your little guys and shooters.

If Lakers behind bring in Cook and Daniels for offense

If Lakers ahead bring in Green and Bradley for defense

Gilbert Arenas suggested it during the summer

In a five out lineup. Bron or AD/ Bron or Kuzma go to the corners

McGee/Dwight would be setting staggered screens/ rolling/ crashing the offensive glass

https://www.google.com/amp/s/lebronwire.usatoday.com/2019/10/11/gilbert-arenas-suggests-lakers-use-big-lineup-that-would-kill/amp/

“LeBron at the point, Kuzma at the two,” Arenas said. “Anthony Davis at the three. You can go JaVale and Dwight. In hindsight you’d be like, ‘Oh, they’d get killed.'”

Arenas added that the Lakers wouldn’t run into matchup problems anywhere, particularly on defense. He mentioned how with the lineup’s size, other teams would struggle trying to find shots.

“On defense you got all 6’10 (sic) and above just locking down,” Arenas said. “Play like a zone type and just say ‘Oh, go to the basket.’ You got five freak athletes jumping trying to block that shot.”

https://www.fr24news.com/2020/01/at-the-request-of-rajon-rondo-kyle-kuzma-slows-down-russell-westbrook-in-the-lakers-victory.html

"Rondo sort of pulled me sideways at half-time in the locker room and just asked me if I could keep it, and I said," Sure, "said Kuzma. "Westbrook really hurt us in the first half, posting our guards, and it's just hard, it's a tough load. He's a big, strong, physical guard. In the second half, this stuff was eliminated, putting a bigger body on top of it. "

Kuzma was asked to elaborate on his defensive game plan against the former quintessential player.

"Keep it right in front," he said. “I am confident in myself defensively. Just try to keep it in front, take hard shots and just not at fault. These guys are looking for faults. And if you keep them off the line, it bodes well enough for you. "

And is also over half a decade older. But justify away.

Or rebounding. Of course they aren’t going to run plays for him, he isn’t that good. How many plays did we run for DFish? Or how many plays were run for prime Danny Green? Yet both contributed to winning. The difference is IQ and effort.
