Brad Turner mentioned that Patty Mills would come off the bench.

Not a lot of talk about JaMychal Green but if Morris signs elsewhere he would be a solid get but we probably can’t expect him to sign for the vet minimum.

Danny Green is not coming back to be this fan base's scapegoat now that Kuz is gone and for he and his wife to receive more death threats for missing a shot.

Then completely trashed him on the way out the door in that trade for Dennis who ended up being a disaster.

This fan base treats players like (bleep) routinely then think those same players would want to come back to play for you.

IG, if you have firefox use that browser and before the loading completes click on the "Toggle Reader View" and it will help you bypass any paid wall

I’m using my iPhone my bro, I can’t browse through firefox

I have Firefox on my iPhone. (But I don’t see “Toggle Reader view”.)

BT: The Lakers need shooting. One name that is coming up is Patty Mills. He can shoot the lights out and would be great off the bench. Wayne Ellington is another shooter who has interest in rejoining the Lakers. Trevor Ariza and Andre Iguodala are veteran wings who are candidates. Carmelo Anthony is interested, just waiting on a call from the Lakers when free agency opens Monday. Guess who might be back for a third time? Yup, Dwight Howard is ready to return and play center. Jeff Green and Goran Dragic also are names to look out for.

Yikes. About half of those players would be bringing their own forks to dinner.

Dwight is a knucklehead but he's not dumb.

Rolling to the rim and catching a lob from Russ or LBJ... OMG!!

With the rim pressure from LBJ and Russ, Dwight is going to feast from that dunkers spot.

Unlike Drummond, he actually intimidates opponents in the paint.

Morris will be back. He’s very close with his brother and they want to both be in LA together. I do t see a market other than the min for him

Yeah I worry about too much age on the team. Can’t be too much of an aging team.

Who says he has to go to them either?

With that said, Philly fans haven’t made death threats to him either. They were too busy doing that to Ben Simmons.

Just what we need: another guy (in Dwight) that can't make a free throw.

Folks complaining about the age of some of these players also have to take into account that alot of the guys the Lakers are reported to be targeting take phenomenal care of their bodies.

Dwight
Iggy
Melo
Ariza

All are in terrific shape and wont be asked to play many minutes.

That said, that's why I will continue to campaign for the Lakers to bring in Knox and Ntilikina if they can work out a sign and trade of Dennis to the Knicks.

Add them to THT and you have you some youth.

Not as bad as people are making them out to be.

They have raw talent that good coaching can mold.

Folks give up far too soon on young players.

Sure these vets can give you 5-10 min but their aging legs will get exposed. The league is too good with young legs.

Plus we know in the playoffs that LBJ, Russ and AD can play 40+ minutes, but no one else mentioned for FA is 30+ min player. You can’t have 5 or 6 playoff rotation guys not capable of playing more than 15-20 minutes.

Hield/Caruso/THT (if all here) would be capable, but that’s also a leap for 3rd year THT.

Neither would be starting for the Lakers and I believe TRiza was asked to start.

Lakers want them for depth.

And there are few available wings I would want more than those two to help throw at these wing heavy teams in the league.

Secondly, Its hard to make any real judgements based on last season.

A rushed season with teams playing basically every other day.

That wouldnt be the case this season.

I don't care about the age of the players taking the vet min. They won't be playing heavy minutes. As long as there are no egos about playing time it should be fine.
