IMO Great move by the FO (no-brainer). This all but guarantees that this talent will have a chance to grow and mature while playing with the KING!

Must be a great feeling for the young guys considering the FO could have easily traded them for win now vets like Kawhi or Kemba but the FO stayed firm.. I think these guys are gonna be big for us especially to prove why they are one of the best young cores in the league.

So does that mean they will be all free agents in the summer of 2020? Wouldn't Ingram be a free agent first since he has been here a year longer than the others?

Next year is the final year of Ingram's contract. He will be a restricted free agent.

The Lakers have another option for the other three next year.

Lakers were smart to lock in Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma

The Lakers secured their young core of Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma for at least two more years, and they’ve set themselves up for a bright, not-so-distant future.

Entertaining fast pace professional ball that energizes the fanbase and drives merchandise sales and other revenue streams, including leverage for a renegotiation for broadcast rights.

I’m ready to trade them for a star.

Except Hart. Keeping Josh Hart.
