This team, with their shoddy bullpen and undisciplined, poor hitting was not winning a world series. The only difference is we're out earlier.

Saved us from becoming the Bills of the MLB. But I hate the fact that no team with this many wins had ever lost a DS. Another wrinkle in the futility of this era.

The Rams losing the Superbowl this year, the Dodgers with 2 straight WS losses and a choke job this October. The past 3 years haven't been great for LA teams. Lets hope the Lakers win the Championship this upcoming season to bring back LA's past winning ways.

Every year it feels like the same story. But this playoffs has to be the biggest disappointment. This should’ve been an easy series.

It really takes a strong group of guys/players to win a championship. Besides the LA Kings (which I don't really care about), the Kobe/Shaq Lakers were the only LA team that have been able to do it in my lifetime. You really appreciate those teams even more in these times.

It's just unreal man.

It's not just that we lose (well, yeah it is), but the way we just implode.

2017 WS game 5 we all know the story there.

2018 WS game 4 blowing the 4-0 lead in the 7th

And then we have tonight.

Something's gotta change man and I hate to say it but we gotta unload Kershaw if we can. It's just not working anymore. How many times are we going to throw him out there in a pivotal moment only for him to fail. Whatever you can get for him, do it

Nothing is easy when you manager sabotages you every step of the way. The players can only control what they do. Manager can really (bleep) up the momentum of a team by making dog (bleep) decisions.

This. I'm disappointed, but I already moved on. I expected failure sooner or later with the Dodgers.

At some point, batting average does count for something.

U know who constantly produced for the Nationals this series?

Turner - .298
Soto - .282
Rendon - .319
Kendrick - .344

I know this team devalues batting avg in favor of ops, but somehow it doesn't translate to the playoffs.

We can't get hits and we're constantly striking out

Kershaw on the mound after he threw a fat one for a homer is a sad sight....this guy's head will never be right in the big moment I'm afraid.

Why is it this team strikes out so much in the playoffs? It's unbelievable.

I don't think Pollock was this bad before he got to the Dodgers.

Kind of like those three point shooters Laker teams got over the years forgot how to shoot, same exact sh*t

Thankfully I stopped caring about baseball a long time ago. But man, that 10th inning was painful to watch even for me. Can't imagine how diehard fans must be feeling right now.

That's why 2017 hurts so bad man. We literally had that effing championship. Game 2 and 5. Now who knows if we'll ever get that close.

I'm almost beginning to think we just aren't cut out for October. This season was just epic man. There was just a different look and attitude. It really seemed like this would be the year we'd get over the hump. I mean, if we couldn't win it this year, then when the hell will we? Just depressing man

We’re probably going to go hard for Rendon this offseason now.

Kershaw's pretty much responsible for losing in his last 4 playoff appearances huh?

2 losses to the Red Sox and then 2 losses to the Nationals.

His last 4 playoff appearances.

Good. We can help him change his approach at the plate. Teach him about launch angle and striking out

I never saw this as an easy series. They had two of the three best starters. That will give you more than a decent shot. Now, we spit the bit in Game 5 with 6 outs to go, but it's not like we rolled over them. Short series, this is what can happen. Especially when we get outmanaged every series.

you and every team that wants/needs a big bat.....he is the only real difference maker bat on the market, and he is going to get overpaid big time.

How do you win 106 games and get eliminated in the first round?

Welp, no Ryu next year most likely. Hill is going to retire. Probably see May and Urias slide into the rotation. Maybe Gonsolin. Lux will be able to establish himself. And then I’ll be ready to be hurt again this time next year.

Dodgers need to pay the penance for this playoff catastrophe.

I agree Roberts needs to go. His bullpen decisions are head scratchingly stupid. Kershaw doesn’t get a pass though. Starting, relieving. Full rest. Short rest. The guy has choked in every circumstance. I’m not even talking walks. Lobbing homerun pitches in the postseason is his specialty.
