I agree. I really enjoyed it.

I watched the first 2 episodes of the new Amazon series "Too Old To Die Young" with Miles Teller, John Hawkes and others. Wow, it is slow! I mean you have to watch to understand.....they move slow, they talk slow....there is very long pauses between each sentence and action. I have no idea what is really going on or even if it is going to be good or terrible.....just slow so far.

I need one of you guys to check out this show and let me know what you think! I keep seeing positive reviews of it, and I find it terrible. Want someone to tell me what I am not seeing?!?! I watched Episode 4 at 1.25 speed, and they still talk and move slow. It even has that sound of a waterphone like old B Horror movies....

I can't say how many times I scrolled past Fleabag when looking for something to watch. After I saw the reviews and kept hearing how good it is, I gave it a shot. Am I ever glad. It is quite different, quirky good, clever, funny, sometimes laugh out loud funny, and with a very special kind of soul.

Now I will pass this forward so that it is your turn to see how good it is.

^ I just finished season 1 after I kept hearing about it. I'm looking forward to season 2 considering all the buzz it has been getting.

One show that I always always suggest to people is The Expanse. Ran for three seasons on SyFy before getting cancelled and picked back up by Amazon. Season 4 is premiering this year I think. It's one of my favorite shows out there, I like to think of it as a GOT in space with unfortunate SyFy writing and CGI here and there. Now with Amazon, hopefully the budget blows up and it becomes even better. If anyone is gonna give it a shot, at least make it to the halfway point of Season 2. Season 1 is fine and good but only after Season 2 was I blown away.

It is outrageously funny! They break The Fourth Wall to great effect. Thanks for the reminder to catch up on it!

I finished the season/episodes, and I still am not even really know what it was about?!?! I guess I am a "lay Amazon Prime subscriber"....2 or 3 episodes are almost entirely in Spanish (and I do not understand Spanish well enough to watch a Spanish TV show)...and are 1.5 hours long....nothing like reading subtitles for an hour and half. It is a benefit that it is so slow in these episodes because you can multi-task.....and then when you hear speaking turn and read the screen....then it could be anywhere from 1-3 minutes before the other person responds! I mean you can get a bathroom break in during a conversation between people talking.

Is Too Old To Die Young the year's most divisive show?

If the first 3 episodes have caused you emotional distress....episode 4 is tougher than the other 3 combined.

didnt realize new season of Fear Walking Dead started. Only watched 1st episode so far and it was dumb.
the group going on a dangerous mission and crash landing a plane to rescue a group of strangers very far away and use zero precautions to ensure they are not walking into a trap??
one survivor goes back to the crash site where countless zombies kept appearing at before they left.... all by herself and at night... ofcourse something bad happens
I guess this will remain something i catch up on whenever i have time but im definitely ready for another tv series to replace this.

wait until you are introduced to the the San Antonio Split in episode 3

rofl I watched that episode this morning and i literally turned off the tv after that point. The show officially jumped the shark at that moment and Im pretty much done with it now.

Just watched the Season 2 premiere last night and it is one of my favorite episodes of television. Everyone raving about season 2 wasn't lying if the rest is as good as Episode 1.

Big fan too. This seems to be diving a lot deeper into social issues than other HS shows/movies which typically focus on cliche drama.

Creepy, really-really, creepy great.

And getting creepier and creepier. There are all kinds of monsters, villains, and evil doers . . . and then there is Meryl.

Meryl Streep is just too good an actor to play creepy roles.

I watched two episodes of Fleabag. I'm still not sold. I'll watch a few more episodes and see.

@ribeye Thanks for where to watch. I have Firestick so I can get most apps.
