I hear you. I am hoping for the best with Ingram believe it or not.
"Never" might not be the best word but I'll stand by the belief of Lonzo becoming an 80% shooter being very unlikely.

Yep. Just need him to be North of 70.

Btw, you say a guy can't go from 40% to 80%.
What if a guy went from 80% (165/205 in HS) to 67% (66/98) to 41%.
They can't get back?

Duncan shows it can be mostly mental. It also shows Ball is probably going to be up and down a lot if that's true.

Duncan had full seasons with .817, .799 but he had several stinkers with .599, .618 and similar. 70% for career.

I was impressed with Vogel saying all the right things. I didn’t need all his promises at the end, but Jalen Rose also said we will be good next season. People know something.

Kurt is already telling Frank all about the triangle and the importance of a back to basket center.

LOL, I cant wait for the twin tower lineup. Mcgee and Chandler starting frontcourt is going to turn heads.

As soon as we can get a center like Mikan, we can beat those damn Warriors.

That is actually frightening to think about. They do like to dump all their bad news on Friday’s. And especially with the long weekend coming

Marc Stein

@TheSteinLine

In Phoenix, meanwhile, Steve Blake (Blazers staff), Randy Ayres (Nets scout) and Mark Bryant (Thunder bench) have all emerged as top contenders to land on Monty Williams' coaching staff

Sounds good.. I like to stay optimistic for the most part but..

I'm not so sure the front office is willing to leave well enough alone if we acquire a marque free agent. I suspect they'd still look to move some of the core.

Well, he was the only one he offered a subtle critique of. I can see why you'd get that sense.

Of all the young guys he did say in regards to Ingram, "sky is the limit".. I took that to mean he sees a higher ceiling.

I thought him alluding to winning basketball while commenting on Ingram was a reference to the system he was in, in which he iso'd frequently.

I'd like to see how he plans on managing Bron, and maybe Kyrie since they enjoy isoing, and were successful doing it.

Ya, "the first thing that stands out about his is he's young" isn't exactly a ringing endorsement.

I don't know if that's worse than the old "the first thing you notice is how tall and long his arms are."

I love Vogel. Everything he is saying is perfect gives me hope. Talking about analytics which is nice cause walton did the opposite of what analytics said about players
