Id like to see them try to fast track his defensive skills for the first year by having him specialize his development in that. That can earn him some situational minutes.

FYI: @ 18 years old, THT is the youngest college prospect in the draft class.
It will take time but the kid has potential.

Freakish wingspan; physical guard, can guard multiple positions; good basketball instincts. This summer THT needs to work on his game and his body.
His ball-handling and decision-making needs improvement too. Overall a very nice pick-up @ #46.

He looks older than an 18 year old.

Some kids go through another growth spurt.

Sekou Doumbaya is the youngest prospect in this draft.

Guinean birth certificates are about $5 US.

I reckon half the African pro athlete prospects shave years off their birth certificate.

You may be right... lol.

I think we might have found a mini Lebron James in THT.

And I think he might be able to contribute right away.

Not sure if posted but 538 has THT the No.3 ranked player in this draft based on their CARMELO projections.
(No 8 if subjective scouting ranks are included)

His stats project to being like Ariza career-wise.

THT is actually 6'2.5" without shoes and close to 6'4" with; arm length & hand size are his calling cards. The guys a little tank, that should be best used to body up SG's if his foot speed is up to it. He will need a steady 3 point shot if he wants to be a 3 & D guy off the bench.

I like his potential, but I'd feel a lot better if we had a real development staff. We are way behind other teams in that department. The Spurs would probably turn him into Kawhi-lite.

Yeah, we do need a development staff, agree.

I'm not the type to get all excited over a prospect, but j have a hunch that this kid is going to be a star. Right now, as an 18 year old he is Lance Stephenson with a lot of room to grow.

THT combine strength and agility measurements:

Lane Agility 11.34
Shuttle Run 3.43
Three QRT Sprint 3.34
Standing Vert 26.0
Max Vert 34.5
Bench Reps 10

That’s all lower end save bench reps. He’s also around 8% body fat, so he has the opportunity to improve on those numbers. These measurables probably lay contributed to his lasting until pick #46

I don't believe these NBA body fat numbers. He looks like a lot more than that. When they say Zion is 4.5% body fat, I doubt that as well. They are either exaggerating or are not doing accurate tests.

It's the same test for everyone but it's inaccurate. nobody's %s are that low obviously - just like how DK Metclaf was like 2%.
But they're all on the same gauge so in that sense, comparatively it's accurate. The most in shape guys at the NBA combine were 5-6.5% bf. 8.4% for THT so he has a few % to improve his body.

Right, no one is 2%. Body builders right before comp are usually around 4%. I doubt there are guys even 5% at combine. They would be much more vascular.

This is what 6% body fat looks like:

Russell Westbrook is probably somewhere around 7.5-8.5% and he's shredded.

Good pointers. Where do you think his actual body fat % is at? I'm guessing it's 15-20%.

The silver lining in the cloud is that his vert and quickness should improve as he hopefully drops from 235 pounds to 210-220.

18-25% depending on how his fat is distributed. It is hard to say with his shirt on.

6'4" / 7'1" != 6'6" / 7'3"
Math says ratio is off
