Eh, that could be entirely innocuous. That is a common phrase I see applied a lot especially when discussing prospects.

Chink in the armor was undeniably intentional so it's a different matter entirely

They changed the wording, so somebody wisened them up. Just a terrible job of editing in the first place and they most likely were tone-deaf when they first wrote it up. As an aside, why does this site still not censor certain slurs?
