I think the pace of the current game puts more wear and tear on the body than the 90s style game......also having to guard out to 25 feet strenuously instead of guarding the 3pt line less hard... |

Was PatBev involved? |
LOL! No.
No one was guarding him. He was alone when he started his drive and he just fell. When it happened to Kobe, there were players guarding him, so he wasn't sure if someone kicked him. Powell knew immediately that nobody was near him and he was pissed and in agony. Really sucks. |

3 Achilles injuries that I know of so far this season. It’s getting ridiculous. |

Plus guys are working 52 weeks a year. Take a couple of months off after the season. Or at least engage in a non-basketball sport, something that uses different muscles. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Clippers have a real chance of taking over the 1 spot in the West within the next week or two, assuming the Clips beat us. |

If we lose 3 in a row to the Clippers, you will see trades made immediately. That Clipper game may be life or death for Laker careers for the likes of Kuzma and a few others. |

Luca missed the crucial free throws.
Once he missed the first free throw, the second one was missed on purpose hoping for an offensive rebound, and a three point attempt out of kicked out pass beyond the arc.
Meanwhile, Kahwi cold-bloodedly swished 2 free throws to seal the game.
And George is still missing. That's a bit scary. _________________ Kobe's Top 5 Dunks, 81 points, MJ last gm @Staples |

We should sign #JerryWest for next season. I think he only has a 1 year deal with the clippers. The work he did picking Landry Shamet and SGA is remarkable, although they traded Shai for PG13.
Shamet has a reallly quick release, dangerous from beyond the arc when he gets hot.
Kuzma will hopefully outshine all of the clippers 3rd stars and up. Then we have LAbron & AD, the best duo in the NBA. |

We will beat them in our home court.

And we can stretch our lead up to double figures, assuming we beat the Clippers. |

Kawhi has had around 6 straight 30+ games which they say is a Clippers record also held by (name I don't recognize).
Paul George and Kawhi resting tonight. My guess is they want PG13 to be ready for next Tuesday's game against us.
From a mental standpoint, we don't want to get swept or even lose the season series. We have guys like Kuzma who will be playing postseason for the 1st time. I feel like they are taking this season series us very seriously, while not taking many other reg season games seriously.

As much as that one dude on this board tries to minimize Kawhi's achievements, the man is a bad mother (bleep). _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."
