will Luol Dengs retirement mean anything to the caplock he has on the lakers?

quite an assortment - most were spoiled brats, one couldn't play defense.

Fisher? really? what makes you put Mr. .04 on this list?

I'm sure there are many who deeply love Derek Fisher. And I will say his character and demeanor earned Kobe's respect, which was not true of all Lakers players of the Mamba's reign.

But his terrible defense, every fricken night, his namesake was lighting us up, because Fisher was incapable of guarding almost every player in the league. It's like the Lakers enjoyed the ego of having the worst starting PG in the league (and most years I think Fisher was about the 40th best PG in the league, as most second stringers ate his lunch too), they could still win championships with the weakest link.. Derek Fisher.

So he wasn't one of my favorites, I know he made some clutch shots, talked an excellent game, and never ran naked down Manchester Blvd. But I group him with my least favorite Lakers. I'll take NVE, Magic, Sedale Threatt, Nixon, et el as Laker PG's I liked, much, much better.

We've got some pretty quality FA signings this offseason. Sometimes, its how you use the capspace that you do have. In Rob we trust.

Imagine if we didn't sign Rondo, KCP and didn't have Deng's contract? What would the $16 million have gotten us? Three terrible signings.
