I'll definitely take this win, but our offense is WAY too slow. We never really push the ball, and there's usually only 10-12 seconds left on the shot clock when we start to really look for a shot.
That will not get it done against the elite teams. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers
Kuz and Rondo will no doubt help.. Kuz in particular will have a huge impact but if Troy Daniels and Cook can come in and hit 3-5 3's combined, it gives our bench a big boost.

There's a few players on the team who will drain the clock down to under 10 seconds then dump it off to Lebron or AD. Looking at you Cook. Caruso did it a couple of times as well.
Much better rotations today by Frank Vogel. _________________ Author of James Harden and the Strip Club

Definitely still a concern. We looked better agains the Clippers. However if the defense can be there consistently we can buy ourselves some time to iron out the offensive side. Vogel's on the clock to get it clicking.

Im not surprise with Cook base on where he came from. W’s never really ran a traditional PG system. He had 3 snipers to always dump the pass to.
I think we’ll be fine once Cooks and KCP shots start falling. Only positive I can see.

No doubt, it worked against the Jazz (they play slow themselves) but will not work against the Nuggets or Blazers for example. Although they did some things against the clippers so maybe it was just the matchup.
Need to play with more pace though, general point is true.

Lebron and AD where phenomenal. Crazy to think this is only light work for them right now.
They’re only getting started.
Better and better every game.
Those 2 lobs were
Dwight was great. Tough presence inside the paint forever.
Really wish he didn’t get that Flagrant late in the game. No silly Draymond Suspensions.
Troy and Danny are lights out!
Just flat out assassins from deep. An we know Danny has solid defense didn’t know Troy isn’t bad on that end either.
Avery Bradley basically erased KcP’s role. All the mid range scoring and lock down defense is what KCP has built his name on his entire career. Gotta shake this funk.
Nice to see Lebron pulling him aside at the end of the game to keep his head up.
Like Vogel. He is really a experienced coach. Makes no hesitation in rotation. AD and LBJ at F, Green and Bradley at G. McGee and Howard at C. Caruso, take up the role for Rando, coming off the bench to bring to ball up. KCP, Daniels, Cooks and Dudley as bench scorers, play D and hit 3s.
Can’t wait to see Rando back and Kuz as our 6th man.
Last years we kept searching for different combinations which hurt players’ confidence and chemistry.

Caruso helped the pace in the 3rd, he pushes and sets early screens... nothing that popped off the screen but still a slight help. Still maybe the worst P/R Pg in the league I'll admit

Awesome take Sina. I agree with it all.
On a side note though I’m assuming your spell check is constructing “Rando”?
We still got a ways to go, but it's gonna be exciting watching this team grow together. Man, when Kuzma and Rondo get back, our bench is gonna be noiiiiiiiiiiice!

Kuzma has to be the most overrated player in the past decade. Having him healthy will help with depth but if we are expecting him to be some kind of difference, good bye in the second round. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
Yesterday, Coach Vogel changed up the lineup at the start of the 3Q by subbing in Caruso for JaVale, which made AD the center. That lineup of Caruso, Bradley, Green, LeBron, & AD played 8 minutes together and finished with an:

Wasn't Utah being billed as a stronger team than the Lakers by the media germ spreaders?
I thought so. Yet despite the sloppy ball handling at times and numerous TO, we had the game under control. AB and DG were amazing defensively. AD mentioned after the game they didn't want a repeat of Game 1 were they get tortured by the opposing guards. They actually implemented what they said. Good in-game adjustments by Vogel and great execution by the players. I'll take it.
