They can do that all they want but no one is going to care or remember. Good teams get calls. That's the NBA. |
Physical teams get calls, and the Lakers are physical. I love this team. |
The Mavs were by far the more physical team in the first half when they were dominating the rebound battle but they were getting quick fouls called on their stars anyway. Even in a hostile arena, the Lakers have enough stars and enough road fans to keep the officiating in check and that's a huge advantage to have. |

Veteran move. I pointed out in the Dwight thread that he sometimes does this. Can't remember if it was last game or the game before, Dwight held back his defender by the wrist so LBJ to get to the rim 1 on 1 |

I'm watching highlights.. imagine if we had a guy like Brogdon. Then we would be the favorites to win it all. |

Is he a perimeter defender that can occasionally hit a 3????? |
Holmes is a 6'10"raw dog that will dunk you back to the stone age and make you question your life choices. Gimme that over a close-to-40 year old perimeter defender Iggy any day. Holmes off the bench with that 2nd unit squad all day. |

Bradley's defense was impressive again tonight; he is quick and aggressive. Offensively he hasn't got it going yet but his defense is very valuable. |

Dwight should probably start and get 30 minutes. I think it’s pretty obvious the talent gap between him and Javale. Javale will still have his time but we need what Howard brings on the court as much as possible _________________ “like I never left”

Lebron James - wow. He just showed he's not even close to washed up. He's not just looking to get his own out there, he's trying to get everyone involved and it's actually working.
That was fun watching the Lakers just pull steadily away in OT.
GOOD WIN LAKERS!! |
The first half wasn't pretty. Lakers couldn't hit a three, get a rebound or play defense. But hey, the Lakers are older now and maybe it was a calculation to take it easy in the 1st half to have the energy to win in OT. Seems to have worked if that was the plan! |

We faced utah like 3 games ago. |
Not really sold on them. |
They are 4-1...4-2 now with the loss to the Kings but Utah has always been a problem to beat for anyone. |
Who have they beaten? The Thunder.. they suck. The Suns.. they suck. The Clippers without Kawhi. Now they lose to the Kings.
Again I'm not sold on them. Some "experts" predict them to finish top 4 in the west. That's ludicrous to me. The top teams in the west will be the teams with the dynamic duos. Clippers, Lakers, Rockets, Blazers. Donovan Mitchell alone isn't enough. They will likely sneak into the playoffs because of their defense. |
Suns suck? OKC sucks? Literally everybody is giving teams a hard time at winning right now. None of the games in the west are easy it's a bloodbath so yes us winning against Utah is beating a good team. |

I'm not sure you can rely on Dwight for 82 games if you play him 30 minutes a night. |

Yes the Suns and Thunder suck. You will see where they finish at the end of the season. |

I dont see why not. He’s done it the majority of his career with the exception of a few seasons. He looks healthy again to me and ready to play...especially in the reduced role he’s in now. _________________ “like I never left”
