Did you know if your plastic headlight coverings are cloudy that you can clean them with toothpaste?

Try it.

What else you got....

If you ever need an emergency pair of contact lenses, go to an optometrist and tell them you're on vacation and need some samples to hold you over until you can order some more of your own. They'll give you a free pair of your prescribed contacts, sometimes several.

Do you have to remove the headlight cover to do so or smear on the exterior?

Just smear on exterior and wipe off with a damp rag....I was amazed at the difference.

Inmates have cut off pieces of metal using toothpaste as an abrasive. Saw a prison show where a big piece of steel was cut from a bedframe with a binder clip, toothpaste, and a lot of elbow grease, time, and enthusiasm.

Soapstone and barsoap to remove the nasty hardwater stains from toilets and other porcelains. The soap stone is softer than the porcelain and won't scratch it.

If you lay your toaster on its side, it's now a pizza re-heater...

Not sure that this is a life hack but it's the same important. Can't help sharing it! ) If you need to protect your say bank accounts it's highly recommended to use 2-step verification. Everybody knows that! But! Don't use sms as a 2nd step. Better switch to Google Authentificator or Authy. It turned out that 3g, 4g and even 5g networks have vulnerabilities which allow to intercept sms without you even knowing it. Read lots of security reports about it https://positive-tech.com/research/ss7-vulnerability-2018/.

I had headlight covers covered with the Clear Bra material (some type of mylar I think), hopefully it will not cloud up, as my vehicle does sit outside.
