Oubre had 30 points tonight. Only had one point vs the Lakers, and it came from the line.

nope... don’t need him tonite

Kings are looking much better. If AD sits out the rest of the team needs to play hard.

They have some really good ones in Leonard, George, Beverley, Harrell..

Leonard did not defend against Booker, nor did he defend against Harden.

If he's trying to manage stress on his knee I doubt Kawhi will be an elite defender going forward.

Ok..

Lol, Harden made a mockery of Kawhi's defense yesterday. Then proceeded to cheekily steal the ball from Kawhi in the last minute or so.

Harden defended Kawhi better than Kawhi defended Harden.

Eh . Those refs always opened up the game for Harden because no one can breath on him in regular season. Comes playoff, Kawhi will shut him down if they ever matchup.

Clips are sandbagging. I’m still expecting another move for a big who can protect the rim.

at some point Denver will come back to a more normal style like putting
jokic deep in the paint and let murray lead the offense. They are still
winning with jokic point center but it doesnt work, they are not impessive.

On the other hand Kyrie seems to be the Carmelo of the point guards.

True, Harden won't get ticky tack calls come finals. That also applies to Lou "I want to flop like Harden" Williams, and Pat Beverly also.

It's been the Clippers that have been getting favorable treatment by the refs to be honest. Pat Beverly got an outrageous foul call on Harden which had to be challenged to be overturned.

Westbrook had 4 fouls in the first quarter, eliminating him from most of the game and making sure he couldn't play defense. 3 Rockets players had 4 fouls half way through the third which seriously inhibited their defense for most of the night. Want to know why the Clippers were coming back? Because Westbrook and Tucker were on the court in the 3rd, both with 4 fouls and therefore they were playing turnstile defense.

The only Clipper in foul trouble was Beverly, who didn't have the good sense to back off toward the end of the game. There's a lot of media attention on the one or two bad decisions the Clippers faced at the end of the game and ignored the Rockets getting hammered for most of the game.

Whether Kawhi can shut Harden down (I very much doubt that) will depend on when in the playoffs they face off. Kawhi gets worse the longer the playoffs go on because he can't rest in between.

The Moons are a pretty good team record-wise right?
Something tells me they wouldn't be as good record-wise if Ayton was playing.

If you visit their subreddit they're convinced they'd be world beaters with Ayton playing.

I guess we'll see soon enough. When's he due back?

I'm incredibly disappointed in the Nets. They built up a good lead at the half then … forgot how to score

9 games missed of 25. So 25 - 9 games left of his suspension.

That is where they gonna miss KD, 20/21 season Nets can contend but this year not quite ready.

It's early, but it's still fun to speculate. Would be nuts if that's part of their plan. To pace themselves to get us in the first round. Figuring might as well take us out while kawhi and PG13 are fresh.

We'd be fresh too. And if we were worried and were still blessed with a top seed, Frank would throw some games to slide down a notch or two to avoid them until later.

I have mixed feelings. I'm sad we let him go, but then if we didn't Dwight and Boogie (possibly next year) wouldn't be here... but he's a good kid … but he might spank us when we meet ...

Agreed. Baynes gives them much better spacing and defense than Ayton. Ayton can get there, but this season Baynes is the more impactful player if the Suns want to get to the playoffs (and that's even counting Baynes' eventual shooting regression).

Murray's a mediocre PG. It's crazy they gave him the max.

Porzingis continues to fit his draft profile to a T: jump shooter who eschews contact; subpar rebounder; little passing feel, vision, or touch.

Doubt they are putting that much thought into it as a team. Maybe while a couple players sitting around high as a kite on an off night they have the same “fan” matchup fantasies.

Season has a long way to go to have any seeding thoughts. West is going to be tight and there are several really good team if they can make it through the season with good health. Going to be fun as hell when the playoffs start no matter what the seedings are.

They're really not showing it this year.

They all haven’t played together this year

Why is Doncic such a good rebounder? This boy bad. I remember his story since he was like 16 and still buried on the bench. I was like how do people know he's going to be good when he's in Europe, and not even playing? So dang, scouts do know their thing.

I remember Rubio had similar hype, but he never lived up to them.
