Rondos 3 point accuracy developed over time with repetition and practice just like Magic and Cooper. His shot has become pretty dependable.

Jason Kidd. Kidd went from non-shooter to reliable shooter in his later years. Teams aren't going to leave him open anymore if he keeps this up.

True. But another crazy thing was just how great of a defender Kidd was even towards the end of his career. He was able to guard bigger wing players too.

Even without the incredible shooting he has simply been a great player off the bench the last week or so.

Another thing i've noticed is how much energy Lebron has still had in the 4th during this stretch since Rondo allows him to conserve energy taking some of the ball handling duties.

Once we get Bradley back, if we can somehow get Iggy I truthfully believe we should be the clear favorites versus anyone. You can just see them coming together more and more each game. This is a legit championship capable roster.

And if you're not down with Rondo shooting 50% from 3 after 12 games on 2.8 attempts again, I've got 2 words for ya~~~~~!

I remember in Kentucky, opponents just dared him to shoot from mid-range.

I feel like great passers should also be greater shooters. Like they obviously have great hands and precision aim. If he can perfectly place a lob from behind the perimeter, why can't he just "pass" it into the basket? I do wonder if for guys like him and Kidd, it was just an underdeveloped part of their game because they were so good at driving and dishing. And because of their improbable hand/eye talent, they were able to learn up quicker than most.

Rondo has huge hands its all about having his feet right and watch, when he nails most he makes sure his hand position is correct on the ball. That is a huge reason he is more effective

25% of Rondo’s threes are wide open this year and he is hitting them at 59%.

Last year, 23% of his threes were wide open and he hit them at 39%.

I thought maybe he was just wide open this year, but it doesn’t appear he is any more wide open in them then last year. So originally I thought he might be close to sustaining this level of success but it appears more likely he’ll regress at some point.

Even if he ends up at 38% when wide open, I’ll take it from Rondo.

His form looks much much better. When that elbow locks in he doesn't miss.

This is reminding me of what J. Kidd did at the end of his career. Became a good spot up three point shooter. Interesting both guys were never known for scoring, and both shot threes in the end.

Once a player learns to release the ball from a shooting pocket, his consistency greatly
increases and he becomes a....lethal shooter.

Well they said Rondo felt some tightness at the half. And the medical stuff said it’s the. Hammy maybe they are being cautious and they don’t seem to need him this game

Maybe it’s a minor hammy strain and he be back soon
