Lakers are better than Portland and Portland is not nearly as good as last season.

But since it’s in Portland I’ll say this is an L. If they end up 3-0 in these 3 road cities on the same road trip 👀👀👀

Mama, here comes dat man again, TRAP GAME. Portland is 9-13. For some reason the Lakers have problems with teams under 500. Dame Dolla and Mello gonna show up and give us fits. Also their roster is at 100% and at home. I pick us to win in a squeaker.

This needs to be a blowout. Get as much rest for the starters as you can before this next road trip. That one is the real test.

We hadn't won a game up at the Rose Garden for 4 years until we got LeBron. They had a 16 game winning streak on us at one point.

They're on a bit of roll since Hoodie joined them and I'm sure Blazers fans will be out in force tonight.

OK prediction time:

Portland is always a tricky win to get for the Lakers, even in championship seasons. I expect Dame to get lucky from the three point line out to mid court with a hand in his face for the entire first half. It's a tradition when the Lakers visit Portland.

Caruso. KCP. AD. Howard. LeBron when he needs to. Green too - we have the defenders to shut them down, even without AB. Sooner or later a hot shooting team will start missing if they're up against persistent hard nosed defense like this Laker squad has shown so far this week. Particularly if Howard/Caruso get inside their heads.

Lillard does have a temper when it gets physical. I predict he starts hating accountants after this game.

One last prediction: If Portland isn't hysterically sick from outside? I think it'll be a long night for them, and we'll see Dudley hitting casual 3's as the clock winds down, with LeBron assisting Javale in clowning on the sidelines.
