Clippers fans have always been “anti Laker” fans.
They get enjoyment from being the underdog. They think it is somehow cool to root for the sibling that still lives in their parent’s basement while the other sibling is a world renown surgeon and gold medal Olympic athlete.
Sad to see the red, white and blue jersey and court colors go. They were so 80s. Balmer is downright annoying and needs to help his team identity with a new arena instead of renting the Lakers space. Maybe Seattle, Vegas or back to SanDiego for all I care. Get out of the shadows!
Current success is great but they will find a way to screw it up just like they always do. They are the clips! |

He should really look at Vegas, chance to really own the town as an NBA team. |

They are going to screw it up by contending for a title while building a state of the art campus that will make Staples look like a high school gym. Getting Kawhi to sign there was as huge as us signing Shaq. They are no longer the Sterling Clippers. Remove the bias and one should be impressed at what Ballmer has done. Continue to live in the past and you remain there. That is a Jeanie Buss philosophy. What do Shaq and Kawhi coming to LA have in common? Jerry West. Who Jeanie was too insecure to bring back. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Really nice game from the bench.
Since Kuzma's been healthy, the time he took off to get his ankle/feet right, it's been what 14 games? He's been averaging 15 per game off the bench. KCP is fantastic bench guy. Caruso is impact beyond stats. Dwight is a beast. We have a legit good bench, especially when Rondo plays like he did tonight. When Rondo pushes the ball he adds so much value to the team as no one else on the team can do that for Lebron and AD. He has to keep that speed and pace up. Dudley and Daniels do some thigs that can go unnoticed.
Honestly, I would argue that right now our bench is better equipped for the playoffs championship run, than the starting 5. The starting 5 with McGee and Bradley, I sense has some flaws especially on offense that limits them. Of course most will jump on Rondo, Kuz etc. But I feel we could really use Boogie Cousins (to get some of McGee's minutes to add more depth to our starting offense) and to get a guard that can take Bradley's spot, as Bradley helps on D, but can be a liability on O.
I feel Frank should experiment with starting Daniels or Cook, instead of Bradley a few games. Just for 6-7 minute stretches. To give the team some more perimeter scoring weapons around AD-Lebron-McGee. Or a trade/FA move bringing in another guard would definitely help. |
