I am not going to lie but this loss really gets to me. They have no shot blockers and yet Lebron plays passive. We lose everytime he plays like that. I don't understand him sometimes. I know they compare Lebron with Magic at times but one area Magic was better than lebron at was his post game. Lebron should be killing any team this small.
Also this is the first game that Vogel had me questioning him. One was Rondo and the other is why are playing small. Play dwight and make them play you. I hate this small ball crap from the Lakers. |

Playoffs tend to have close games. Who on this team can take over?
Lebron clearly doesn’t have it in him
AD is even more passive
Kuzma is trash
Yeah, no one. There’s no Kyrie or Wade to offset Lebrons late game struggles. |

Lakers went half way in for that half way championship
I thought the point of getting AD was to go all in this year? _________________ #mamba4ever! |

Screw the record. The inability to beat strong teams is most concerning. _________________ God is a Lakers fan........usually. |

Not really disappointed in KCP since I really had no expectations.
Kuzma, on the other hand, should be ashamed of himself for spouting all that nonsense about hard work and improving his game and instead coming into this year looking like an entitled benchwarmer. |

With this small ball Houston team. Not sure if doubling Harden is the answer. I think next game against Houston Frank should consider single coverage and focusing on the corner 3 point shooters.
On offense Lebron has be less passive. We saw that great dribble through the D and and 1 play in the 4th. He still can create a lot of dribble penetration... but doesn’t want to regularly. I feel he is making sure AD eats first in the RS and will crank it up in the POs. |

I understand he can’t go hard for 48 minutes anymore either with 30 games left in the season and the playoffs.

The issue I see is they are trying, but are having problems when challenged.
It doesn’t look to me like Lebron and AD are not trying. They just get neutralized by the better teams. Lebron fades with the 3s and AD fades with mid range 2s. |

If we are facing a good team, and LeBron is not in attack more 100% of the game, we are not winning in the playoffs. |

Advantage rockets, but we as hoops fans all lose for being served such an ugly display of supposed basketball |
Cuz rather than play to our strengths we played to theirs
Exhibit A: Lbj rarely attacking on offense. I mean hes attacked vs nastier defenses but tonight stayed back. Taking long range bombs and missing...he posted a 1-8 three stat.

It's always been like that. Poor FT shooting without a reliable jumper makes him a choker against good defense. He's not mentally tough. |

I thought this too, but apparently Kuzma just can't be moved for a guy over 30 years old because he's our only asset??? According to many on here at least _________________ #18 next... |

For the record, I am not worried about the rockets for one bit, but Vogels love for rondo and lack of adjustment and lebron’s passiveness worries me |

Rondo was horrible though.
Our bench gave us very little. Really bad night for them.
One of those nights where - the team as a whole was not there. We have actually hit a rough patch in our season we are 6-5 in the last 11.
Need this ASB to come soon.
Can not win when the other team has that many more 3 point shots than you. They were 19-40 from 3
We shot 9-31 |
Rondo still gets blamed. Only difference now is the game was bad enough that there are other people to blame in addition to Rondo. |

I thought Lance Stephenson didn’t play for the Lakers anymore, there were 5 of them on the court tonight!

Did you say the same against the Bucks, the Clippers, the Celtics, the Blazers?
Gave them a pass against Portland because it was obvious we were hurting, but it was also obvious that the team as constructed wasn't quite good enough. Simply signing Collison and putting him in over Rondo isn't going to save us from Bradley's poor outside shooting and Kuzma and DG's inconsistency _________________ #18 next... |

Of course Rondo was/is awful. But what concerns me is that we still got the lead into crunch time, and what I saw was a team unable to impose its will against a team with a clear and obvious defensive deficiency. It wasn't just that we were missing shots. That happens. If you miss good shots, I mean, you live with that. We were largely running bad offense. Not getting good looks. In simple terms, the offense looked rough. |
