This one should be interesting if Covington plays.

Houston playing better of late. They were in a bit of a slump last time we saw them.

he won't play yet. I don't think they've finalized the deal yet and even so, he will have to go through medical n' (bleep).

This feels like a trap game knowing they are super small. But we should be able to stomp 'em midgets.

You are probably correct. So we are playing the Houston small balls without that extra 3 and D.

Harden and Westbrook are a load on any night but if we lock down on them defensively and rebound our big guys should eat.

LINK You don't really think we'll blow out a 32-18 team with Harden and Westbrook do you? You're joshing. This is a test game. I'm hoping what we've seen defensively from Kuz lately will surface in Houston. Maybe the passing of the deadline and him still wearing purple and gold will insense him to play with intensity. I called a scarp game with the Spurs, I was wrong. I'm not calling this a scrap game, I'm gonna call it a nail biter.

win the defensive rebounding battle, limit turnovers, limit harden BS, force westbrook to take poor attempts beyond the arc. get AD going early.

Ditto that...but I do expect us to pound them down low into oblivion.

Houston will annihilate teams that play positionless basketball, but against teams with any inside presence...they should get beat down and with that there should be a lot of locker room problems.

SFs guarding Cs & PFs night after night will get old REAL quick.

If we play with defensive intensity, mix it up and run multiple defenders at Harden and Westbrook, we should be in good shape. Agreed, we should win on the glass.

Since he escaped being traded I'm looking for Kuz to have a good defensive game. Escape may even loosen up his shot. If the Lakers get back to the identity they had early in the season we'll be OK. I don't know who's gonna guard Harden. We have the size to dominate down low with AD, Bron and JaVale. I don't like when the ball is swinging side to side and when Bron gets it, it stops.
