If Lakers knew they had to win this game, they would blow the Nets out. They were just feeling themselves from the last two wins, and were taking it easy.

Dont disagree. Did not feel from them on offense the intensity or urgency. Not unexpected however.

He played rondo too long in the 4th, he was owned by that short Nets guy (forgot his name), and that was the difference in the game

True. Annoying, but happens. Couldnt believe the Nets were hitting clutch shots down the stretch. Am frustrated our guys did miss a number of open shots, but oh well.

Lebrons late deep 3 was so in and out and the spin on that missed layup was wicked. Not meant to be. Hopefully now Lebron can get more rest and talk of trying for No 1 overall will switch to rest after we clinch the West.

This is definitely a trap game. Watch the Nets lose 6 in a row now.

The Lakers just gave it away, the Nets really shot poorly. Gave the Nets the ball with turnovers, gave the Nets a bunch of offensive rebounds, and Lakers didn’t take advantage of their hot 3 point shooting nor did they ever get their inside game established.

Am I the only one who thinks Quinn Cook should play over Rondo? Just what is Vogel's obsession with him? He sucks the life out of our team.

Y’all tripping over this lost lol will be good. Losses like this humbles you. They played flat after starting strong and still barely lost. Can’t cheat the game though

That run with Rondo in game really did hurt - alot. He played almost 4 minutes in the fourth, and Lakers werent able to really chip into a 7 point deficit. They were down 6 when he left. Eventually they fell by 9 (after both teams had a mini scoring drout) then Lakers made a run. The key is Rondo really isnt the guy you want starting the 4th and down by 6-7 points. He's tolerable to try and maintain a lead (if he having a decent night), but you're really rolling the dice when he is just meh. He becomes a net nothing and its hard to make runs with him.

Win the rockets game and this one won’t matter. Just don’t lose to the Houston small balls again.

Rondo wasn’t the only reason, but once again he got the ball rolling when he was subbed in. The nets gained momentum and came alive with Rondo’s first shift. The other 4 were too tired to mask it again.

Youre not, I believe that too, but many will say Quinn isnt really a point guard, etc, etc.

I just dont see Quinn doing any worse at this point.

I think Rondo should play, but needs to be ok a short leash, Vogel gave him too long sometimes

We missed Dwight big time tonight. He nets shot worse than us and still win, offense rebounds were the reason. AD rotates to perimeter too much.

AD was bad the first half.

Caruso was horrible too -11.

we were up 11 in the 1st when Rondo came in and blew the lead with dumb passes, wasting the clock.
Loss is totally on him IMO

Judging by how Lebron walked off the court. I think he either really wanted that game or he was still pissed about missing that layup.

The one larger concern from this game is Vogel is super quick to go small - he really needs to stop doing that

We were getting worked on the glass all game long

That and his obsession with Rondo was the ball game.

Dwight was out with an upset stomach IIRC and we don't have a backup center

Unfortunately - the Rondo obsession will not stop anytime soon

This was a winnable game. Easy missed layups. Poor rotations. Bad player combinations. Maybe Rondo has some compromising photos of Frank.

Too early to give up on home court down only two games in loss column and Giannis down. Winning a game 7 in Milwaukee is 50/50 at best and 90/10 in LA.

What's funny Rondo played 15 mins with a 0 +- and Caruso played 15 mins with team lowest -7 +- and the worst looking sequences in offense last nite with him at the point.

And Morris again was MIA.

Well, we can't win 82 games. I think this is the lost to a team with the worse record this year, right?
