Super impressed by Price lately. Nice win to demoralize the dads. Hope it continues this weekend!

I was about to be so mad to spend 4 hours watching this game only to lose. Then an hour later and I’m glad I stuck around to the end. 3 more wins and we’re on to the World Series! Wait....it’s only April?

I've been one thinking he could help us, and it looked ugly in his first 2-3 outings. But the velocity was there. In his last 3 appearances, the command has come back. He can definitely help us if he has his command. The control has been pinpoint lately. Great to see!

Not to sound greedy but I’d like this to carry over to tomorrow. Hopefully Kersh can keep it rolling and we can run Darvish off the mound early. Either way I have full confidence in the guys to get a sweep and stick it to these wannabes.

Danny Santana really won me over tonight.

If we all pool some money together, can we pay for Corey Seager to go to a different team after this season?

This team is eventually going to have to sack up and beat the dodgers. Can’t keep getting walked on over and over

What is crazy to me is how clutch he has become. The Mookie effect. Turner has always had it but Seager has really turned into something for when it counts. I mean he torched the Braves and Rays single handedly last year on the biggest stage. Dude is so locked in it’s absurd. His brother doing a hell of a job too.

Hopefully some of that Mookie big hitting effect can rub off on Belli...even when he’s got it going the clutch hitting has always been a problem.

Btw..moar quotes Poly..please

Yes. And this is precisely why I want to keep him at all possible costs. Some guys just have that IT...and with baseball, that seems to matter more than anything. And it's also why as old as Turner's getting I wanted to keep him in the blue as a huge priority this last off season.

Yeah most of us want to keep him. We’re just being realistic about Friedman’s MO and Seager doesn’t fit his MO.

But maybe he changes his mind for Seager seeing how godly he is now offensively.

The season’s still early but looking at the standings, it really looks like we have no challengers this year.

All the top teams in the standings were suspect last year:

AL East: Red Sox (9-4)
AL Central: KC (7-4)
AL West: Seattle (9-5) ; Angels (8-5)

NL East: Mets (5-3)
NL Central: Reds (8-5)
NL West: Giants (8-5) ; Padres (9-6)

I think only 2 teams in that bunch that made the playoffs last year are the Padres and Rede.

If theres anything good about the Padres becoming a competent organization is that it makes our away victories that much sweeter with the electric atmosphere down at Petco Park.

Source: Alex Vesia is getting called up by the Dodgers and will be active today. They used six relievers in a 12-inning, 11-6 win over the Padres that began Friday and ended early this morning.

So Vesia is up, and I wonder if they will activate Graterol today as well. Beaty really should get optioned, he's overmatched at the plate and hasn't shown anything since 2019. We need another right-handed hitter off the bench anyway, although tonight we'll have Will Smith available to pinch hit.

Graterol will not be activated today. Jansen is unavailable today. And the Dodgers will stay away from Price for at least a couple of days, this all according to Dave Roberts.

Beaty was, indeed, optioned out.

Kershaw with the walk!!! Awesome at-bat, especially for a pitcher.

I don’t think he threw Kershaw a single fastball.

- Trent Grisham is so good against us.

- Kershaw hitting 92mph, good sign

- Kershaw 5.1ip, 90 pitches. Probably won’t last too long

- The Padres are running all over us these last 2 days

- Jimmy Nelson had not been good so far. 6 bb in 4.1ip

- He got out of that inning. He just needs to regain some control. He’s been wild.

This is getting really (bleep) annoying. Guys will take a walk and shortly later they’re on second base.

We should incorporate this strategy into our offense. Seems to put alot of pressure on the opposition.

It's not that hard to steal, but with today's "God forbid you make an out on the bases" baseball, you hardly see dudes trying to steal. Against a strong team, I love it, personally. If you have the athletes, take the extra base.

Agree with LongBeachPoly on Nelson. He needs to have better control. Can't just keep giving free passes.

Pagan tried to triple up on the fastball after he got 2 by Turner. No dice, Emilio!

How does Muncy strike out after getting ahead 3-0? Hate that. That’s why I hate taking 3-0. If it’s right down the middle, swing.
