With The Beard exercising his Player Option with the purpose of facilitating a trade - possibly to the Clippers - imagine this projected lineup

Harden
Westbrook
Paul George
Kwahi
Zubac

Who will pass the ball
Will anybody pass the ball
How will Kwahi play at least 20 games (load management)
Who will rebound Westbrook’s countless missed shots?
Can Paul George play more then 42 games
How bad will Harden fade/disappear during crunch time
What can TLue (lame duck HC) do to motivate the stars
Bench will be productive - how (since they will be “hard capped”
Westbrook will accept a lower salary?

It will be a fascinating NBA story/stories since Harden to PG to Kwahi will be commuted for four years at Max Contract levels with Balmer paying more taxes than for contracts

At the end of the day, can they realistically beat the Nuggets - No

Regarding Harden

“ Furthermore, as our Sam Quinn detailed, the Clippers have a number of mid-level salaries that would be easy to aggregate in a trade. Nic Batum, Robert Covington, Marcus Morris, Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac all make between $10-18M. They could also offer Terance Mann as an intriguing younger player. Whether sacrificing their depth for Harden is a good idea is certainly up for discussion, but logistically they could make the deal work.

On the court, the Clippers have been desperate for a point guard to take some of the playmaking responsibilities off of Leonard and George, which is one of the reasons they picked up Westbrook from the buyout market last season. Harden has always been a brilliant passer, and settled into more of a facilitator role last season with the Sixers, leading the league with 10.7 assists per game. He also fits the more methodical and deliberate pace the Clippers like to play at, especially in the halfcourt.”

Fascinating Upcoming Potential Matchups with Kwahi, PG, Westbrook and Harden
* Suns with KD, Booker and Beal - defense will be played - lol
* Heat with Dame (potentially), Jimmy Buckets and Bam
* Mavs with Luka and Kyrie (one-on-one plays throughout the game)

How will he fit alongside Westbrook? Leonard and George were "on board" with the trade, how about Russell?

Harden whined his way out of Houston, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia. How long will it take the lil beeoch to want out of LA? Ballmer is taking a hellofa chance.

I'm not a Clipper fan but I feel for Tyronn Lue. He would have been the Lakers HC but the Sail Boat Boys wouldn't let him out of his contract.

With his track record, I think this is it for Harden. If he causes trouble in LA I think his NBA career will be on a slippery slope.

Buckle up, I see a train wreck in the making.

Balmer has went “All In” for a “Championship or Bust” season with 3 All-Stars/HOFers who have never won a ring (Westbrook, Harden and PG13) and Kwahi (who won one right in on a miracle shot and another as a supporting member of a great Spurs team).

Three of these HOFers are playing for their next large multi-year 7 figure contracts.

Terence Mann is going back to the bench.

How much MPG will Mann/PJ Tucker get if everybody is healthy (Kwahi & PG13). How will the Clips function when Kwahi and PG13 are injured?

Will they be able to beat the following teams in the WCF (IF they are healthy)
* Nuggets - Nope
* Suns - Nope
* Lakers - Nope, but will be a good series
* Warriors - Nope, but will be a good series
* Kings - Nope, but will be a good series

It will a soap opera that NBA media pundits will have fun the entire season!!

Lue wasn’t the Laker head coach because Jeanie was too cheap to pay him.

If the Clippers go full second unit you could see Bones, Mann, Powell, Tucker and Plumlee with minutes for Kobe as well. That would be tough to match up with. Powell led all bench scorers last season.
