The Chicago Bull-Crap's comeback bid fell just short, losing at home to the Seattle Kings of Sacramento 100-97. Down 5 entering the 4th, the Bull-Crap kept it close through much of the 4th, and were able to tie it at 87-all with 2:19 to go on a Larry Nance bucket. Larry Bird scored 8 points in the final 23 seconds, including a miraculous 75-foot heave in the expiring seconds, but it was too little, too late. Shaq put in a near triple-double, tallying 24 points, 16 boards and 9 assists in his Player of the Game Performance.

The Manhattan Alpacas hold on at home, beating the visiting Atlanta Dirty Birds 94-89. The Birds were able to cut it to three with a minute to go in the contest, and then again with 34 seconds left, but a Jerry West offensive rebound on a Kevin Durant misfire forced the Dirty Birds to play the foul game, and West was game. With 23 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists, the Chief Robert Parish is your PotG.

Wilt puts up the better stats, but he can't score down the stretch and Russell's team gets the win despite shooting only 39.6% from the field. The 20-11 turnover differential proved to be the difference in a battle of two of the league's best teams. Marques Johnson was the Player of the Game with 23 points and 10 boards.
