|

Hello all
Was looking for a good happy hour spot around the so cal area, specifically DTLA , Glendale, Pasadena and I thought it would be interesting to start a thread for all of us foodies out there! Anyways, my go to happy hour is Islands! Although the prices have recently gone up (appetizers use to be up to 50% off!) they still offer great deals from 4-7. They have appetizers under 5$ I personally love getting the quesadilla and adding spicy chicken and of course the cheddar fries! Also for you alchys out there (myself included) Drinks under 5 bucks! Anyways, there's my 2 cents ... looking forward to reading the responses! Cheers. _________________ RIP Dr Buss. |

BJs in Whittier used to be a good time when I worked in Santa Fe Springs. Sadly, I no longer drink though. |

There's a spot in Newport (Fashion Island) called "Roy's (Hawaiian fusion)". Their happy hour has a pretty solid wagyu burger that comes with truffle onions and a perfectly sunny-side up egg and very large tempura battered onion rings (large & sweet) for just $9.
Drinks are on point too.
Wish more people would add to this list ... I need some chill spots to take my special lady friend. _________________ We back. |

Dive bars. It's happy hour pretty much ALL THE TIME. I'm out in the 626 and there are quite a few I'll hit up after a long day at work. Typically 3-4 dollar drafts or bottles and less than $5 for a mixed drink with premium liquor. $20 gets you at least 3 (if not 4) drinks with a decent tip for the ol' bar hag behind the counter. _________________ "Be the person you needed when you were younger..." |
