My deepest condolences to Son of Luca and his family on the passing of LG legend, Luca Brasi.
LB was a fantastic poster and he enhanced the level of discourse on this board with his keen and insightful posts.

It was apparent that Luca Brasi had an insider's perspective by the way he posted. We were very fortunate to have someone like him to share his opinions & insights. Most definitely one of the best posters on LG.
Condolences to his family. _________________ 'How many kids can say growing up that they'll turn pro and play for their favorite team in the world and spend your entire career there? IT'S BEEN A DREAM!'-Kobe Bryant 11.29.15
Definitely sad to hear of Luca's family's loss. Luca was sincerely kind, responsive, helpful, insightful, intelligent, a die-hard, and easily one of my favorite posters on LG. Imagining the board without his pearls of knowledge and wisdom is difficult to comprehend. I didn't know him personally, but I hope he passed without enduring long-term pain. Thank you for your post, SonOfLuca. It is likely of little consolation to you, but when your father wrote, folks here paid rapt attention. Your father's contributions to this site will not soon be forgotten, as I presume the same is true as to his memory of him which your family will inevitably cherish. Be as well as you can be, SonOfLuca (and your family as well).
My deepest condolences to the family of Luca Brasi: and to son of luca!
I quite enjoyed reading his posts and am appreciative of his enthusiasm and the Lakers info he shared with us! _________________ Starting Lakers Dynasty6.0! NOW!!

I am so very sorry to hear of this. I'm obviously not alone in saying this, but I truly did look forward to Luca's posts and it felt like something special and meaningful was happening whenever he would share his insight. My grandfather was this towering Italian man who commanded instant respect whenever he entered a room, and he had that gravitas that was so palpable. That's how I thought of Luca. He commanded instant respect whenever he was talking about his beloved Lakers.
Just popped in to pay my respects to Luca Brasi. He was a mensch, a gifted poster and someone whose opinions I liked reading. He will be missed by those who knew him, even if we only knew him on-line.
