Bender seems like a good fit. Very athletic and 7'1". Great defensive potential and great vision/passing.

I don't know, man. If basing on defense and athleticism, Ingram is already ahead of Bender. Other teams should even take Buddy Hield over Bender if both were available. Hield sort of reminds me a little bit of Wade but with a better stroke when Wade was in college. I don't see anything that really stands out with Bender's game. He's a prototypical Euro. And other than Dirk, most of these Euro guys that get a lot of buzz in the weeks prior to draft day have turned out to be pretty pedestrian.

No time to get cute. Nope. If you want a C, trade #2 for Turner

Keep the two and draft Ingram. The kid's going to be a star.

That's a risk you weigh taking at #3 or later. Bender has the potential to be a really good player, but there are two studs at the top. Don't over think it.

I would've taken that risk at 3, but not at 2. If the Lakers really believe in him, then maybe they can swing a trade for him somehow, but other than that, pass.

Unless there are new developments, I feels it's an overreaction after the year Porz just had compared to DLO's struggles. We shouldn't let that cloud our judgement this year; it's well-documented that PG is the most difficult position to learn in the NBA. Even Steve Nash struggled for a few years after four years in college.

You never know. Up until the draft last year, everyone thought it was Towns/Okafor #1 and #2 for sure. Turns out neither the Lakers nor Sixers wanted Okafor, and the Sixers only took him because Porzingis refused to workout/meet with them. It turns out Okafor's actual perceived value was #4 at best.

I'm not completely sold on Ingram as the #2. Based on Duke players, not many become superstars and are a product of the system/coach. I think it would be better to try and trade down for Bender so #2 for #3, #16 and #23 would be nice.

#3 - Bender
#16 - Maker/Qi
#23 - Bembry
#32 - Gbinjie

Plus ripping off the Cs would be a cherry on top lol

If you want Bender then trade the 2 pick with the Celtics for their third pick and get another asset. I think the Lakers though are thinking Simmons or Ingram with the 2.
