This has gotten very old. Every year there has to be a reminder about the profanity filter. The really aggravating part, is a lot of the violations are from people who have been here for 2+ years.
Take this to heart. My patience gets extremely short, when I have to edit multiple posts. People then find themselves on the outside... looking in.
If you have to insert a !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, any other such character and/or alter the spelling of a word to bypass the profanity filter... then you are violating the policy of this board. Its always been the same and its not going to change, as long as this is an all-ages board (and that isn't going to change either).
EDIT: No one is saying, you can't type "#$%@" in place of an entire word. What is not acceptable is replacing 1 or 2 letters (typically vowels) so you still get the word across. |
