After watching the second episode, it reminded me how Curb episodes and Tom Petty (RIP) songs are very similar for me. When I play one, it's fantastic. The second one is pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty good, the third is ok, and by four or five I'm annoyed. Both guys make great art, it's just that both do so in a voice I can only do in short bursts. _________________ Hoy por ellos, mañana por nosotros

^ Yes, definitely not a show you can binge watch. I didnt care for the last episode that much but the first one was great. Still looking forward to the rest of the season.

Am I the only Seinfeld fan here who's never really gotten into Curb Your Enthusiasm? I came in expecting Seinfeld-level greatness due to hype and, of course, the Larry David connection, but it's just not there.

Can't believe it's been 19 years since Curb Your Enthusiasm first aired. I tripped out seeing Jeff&Suzie's daughter Sammie get married last season.
I've been watching a lot of Seinfeld re-runs lately. 21 years since the final episode and still funny. I wonder if we'll still be laughing at Curb in 2040. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant

Going to my first Seinfeld trivia in DTLA. I hope I’m not too rusty

Yeah, I just finished binging the first 8 seasons, and for the first time in my life I felt nostalgia for...the year 2000. Seasons 1 & 2 had some great outdoor shots of pre 9/11 LA (ok, West LA, mostly), around the same time I started spending time in a lot of those places. _________________ "All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."
