Slams into him ..into his right knee bashing it into the left and elbows him under the arm in the upper ribs..
Jokic rightfully shoulder checks the chump onto the ground...
where he laid acting like he was terribly injured.. trying to hide how hard he hit Jokic

That wasn't a frustration foul.. that was a "Let's see if I can hurt this guy and get him to retaliate" foul

Props to Jokic, I approve of putting dirty players in their place. True MVP

Jokic will probably get a lot of heat for this but he was 100% justified

That was a cheap shot and Jokic responded in kind.....funny enough, Morris got a flagrant 2 even after he got laid out, so obviously the NBA saw that he instigated the entire thing.

Basketball is an emotion game. Stuff happens . Don’t think either guy was in the wrong or has to justify anything but don’t be surprised if they come down harder on Jokic.

The Morris' brothers have been asking to get their (bleep) kicked in since they joined the league. They are very lucky they joined when the league is extremely soft and riddled with coddled babies who fear skirmishes. Jokic, a Serbian bear, gave one of them what has been a long time coming.

Going to be interesting to see how many games Jokic gets suspended. Likely a couple. Would be justified to give Morris a game suspension for instigating the situation IMO.

Some of the Spoelstra and Heat comments about it just being a “hard take foul” are comical. Two mins left in an embarrassing blowout game? By a player that has built his career on the hard foul/ dirty play line?

Context is everything. Suspend them both a game and send a message.

Respect to Jokic for doing what the refs should have been controlling.

Brothers of NBA players Nikola Jokic and Markieff Morris exchange words on Twitter after Heat-Nuggets scuffle

Quote:
Marcus Morris intimated that Jokic shoving his brother from behind was shady and that he will remember it.

"Waited till bro turned his back smh. NOTED," Marcus Morris tweeted Monday night with an emoji of a pen in hand.

That prompted Jokic's brothers, Strahinja and Nemanja, to open a Twitter account named "@JokicBrothers" to respond to Marcus Morris, The Denver Post reported.

The new account tweeted: "You should leave this the way it is instead of publicly threatening our brother! Your brother made a dirty play first. If you want to make a step further be sure we will be waiting for you !! Jokic Brothers."

Next Heat- Nuggets game just got really interesting. Lol

Watching that clip from another angle just solidifies my opinion of how much a punk move that hit by Morris was. Not just the elbow but the knee into his thigh. Seriously.

Going to be interesting to see if the NBA takes action and suspends Morris too. If not, things could get ugly.

As for the brothers feud over the internet. The Morris Brothers should just let this one go and make nice.

It is one thing to be a NBA tough guy, with a dozen people “ holding you back” but from some of the stories that have come out about the Jokic brothers, they may be the real deal of tough guys.

Nikola Jokic’s Brothers Take Shots At Markieff Morris After Jokic Wins MVP: “Cry, You Never Get MVP."

Quote:
Yesterday, it was announced that Nikola Jokic has won the NBA MVP trophy for the second year in a row. Jokic, who won MVP in 2021, followed that win up with yet another incredible season.

But not everyone agreed with the decision to name him MVP, as many fans slammed the NBA for snubbing Joel Embiid.

Two people who were thrilled with Nikola Jokic's win were his brother. Jokic's brothers, who made quite the name for themselves this past season, took to Twitter to congratulate their brother.

They also took shots at Markieff Morris, who they and Nikola had problems with earlier this season, slamming him and saying that he would never be named MVP in his career.

At this point, this is just petty. It’s like someone in a Hellcat going around drag racing 4cyl. Nissan Altima’s.. I guess one could certainly do that, but there’s really no point to prove here.
