I dunno about insane since its an obsolete socket...that architecture barely lasted 18 months before Intel replaced it. |

12000 series is back in business. Newest Intel is some piece of work. If I was going for a laptop I'd definitely go back to Intel just for Thunderbolt alone much less the ridiculous performance.
That said, this is still a helluva bang for the buck imo. I just wished both Intel and AMD would keep the same socket at least 3 generations. _________________ KOBE |

Competition is good....for about a decade Intel had the lead but rested on their laurels, which basically led to AMD catching up and surpassing them. Now we need Intel to come back and keep them honest while keeping the prices down for the consumer. |

Their motherboards are so expensive though...that's the only drawback to going back for me. I'm only interested in higher end ITX boards and they're 300+. I'd spring for it if I knew it would at least last another 2 generations down the line. _________________ KOBE |
