| Not surprising of the defeat, but disappointed in the effort outside of DS and TB, they didn’t play any meaningful defense at all. One open look after another, and Suns didn’t have anyone that we need to double team |

| The Lakers pretty much mailed it in and forfeited the game before it even started by sitting LeBron, Russ and Austin Reaves. |

South Bay Lakers lost by 26 to the Phoenix Suns without their main scorer….
In other news, Vet Min Dennis Schroeder is just as meaningful to wins as is 47M Russell Westbrook…. Big 3 is the way, Yay! |

None of the Lakers top 4 players played; suns at least had 2 of theirs.
This was the second game in a 3 games in 4 days schedule so…yea…pretty much a “planned” loss / “load management” sorta game.

tanking for NOP?
if we want to weather the storm until AD comes back, we have to be smart about Lebron.
if he needs rest, rest him in games we have little chance of winning. at PHX in end 2nd night of a back to back is definitely one of those. CP3, Miles Bridges and Ayton all played, so they'd be favored even without Booker anyways. |

I asked the question that came to me. I'm not a draft guru. I don't know what the 1st round picks the Lakers have so far in the future are and if trading them now for a quality player is a good or bad choice.
