This was brought up in the political thread. Adams has been problematic for years, so while it’s good that publications and representation are finally severing ties, it probably should have happened a while back. I never read the strip, or listened to his podcast, but several people have pointed out that it had always had a misogynistic bent to it.

I just read Scott Adams' Twitter feed a little bit, and it seems like a bunch of rationalization and gaslighting, along with retweeting people who have defended his statements while using it as an excuse to whine about "cancel culture" and the "far-left media" and "indoctrination."
It's puke-worthy how conservatives and libertarians will defend a racist statement under those false guises while totally ignoring the fact that the statement itself is racist. |
